I don't understand what makes somebody want to bet money day after day when they clearly have no expectation of winning. You have no real conviction for this bet Paul. You're just sticking money on a match that could go either way.
What's the point? You can't rely on luck to get you money in betting. And you clearly have no desire to try and learn anything about form, trading, etc. You can't even work out what an EP is. You've been doing this eight months and you still can't work out what EP might stand for???? Geez! Just give up betting and start concentrating on getting yourself a real job. You're simply wasting your time here. |

Either you believe that nobody can win at betting as it all comes down to luck (and this does seem to be what you believe, given that you keep saying Undern is the only person on Betfair who's winning!). Or you believe that there's something more to it than luck - (Judgement perhaps?) - in which case, why do you keep betting money when you have nothing but blind hope to guide you? There's no reason behind any of your bets. Either the system is one you can't beat because it's all luck. Or it's one that can be beaten with judgement, except that you rely only on luck and therefore can't win there either. In either case, you're spending every day playing on something you have virtually no chance of winning on. Your unwillingness to face up to this makes you an idiot! |

Okay Paul. You've beaten me! The truth is I find you to be an itch that I can't resist scratching. I really genuinely wanted you to see how futile your strategy is. I wanted you to realise that some of us weren't just betting blindly. That some of us had, gasp, strategies! (Even if we had no intention of sharing the specific strategies with everyone else on Betfair!)
But I can see that you're never ever ever going to change. You are a born loser, and you won't ever lift your finger to do any research or anything that might moderately improve your chances of success. Your whole time on Betfair has been one long existence of asking questions that you could mostly answer yourself, or questions that are of little relevance to you. What you never spend your time doing, is doing any research into anything that might make you a better player. I can also see, knowing myself, that as long as you're here, I won't be able to resist posting and trying to make you change. I'll go into a rage a few times, but a few days later I'll relent and try and help you again. And that will be a grand waste of my time, since you are never ever going to change. I've got a number of things I'm testing out alongside my usual betting and, frankly, the extra hours I seem to be spending constantly monitoring this forum are proving a bit too much on top of all that. I did my best for you, and I've failed. For that I'm very sorry. However, my addiction to these forums isn't healthy, and the only way I can kick it is to go cold turkey. So I won't be spending any more time on this forum over the next few weeks (well okay, maybe one more quick message to Undern..). Paul, I would suggest you adopt the same strategy towards Betfair, as otherwise you're just going to lose money. And that is the most sincerely felt piece of advice I will ever give to anyone in my life. Farewell. (And Freddie, you make sure you make a nice pelt out of that wolf!) |

ok so i lost another £52 on peng losing. she was 5-0 up in 2nd set tie break too.
am now £118 down since 1st august when i lost £850 on a horse to place. not sure i will ever win back £118 |

ok wioll do another laying horses at 40 attempt to win back the 100 and put money on scotland to win for the rest.
22 lays of 40-1 horses will do it, although i'll probably lay a winner before then |
