200 - DIFFERENT CLASS has -
1. won three races out its last 6 races...more than any other horse in race. 2. has a trainer currently "n form". The other horses don't look that daunting on paper. It does have limited experience over fences.....but today's going may well suit this horse. It is certainily one I would not lay...I have it alongside two other horses that could win today and will be including it as a back. GL with bets. |

only just read your reply, very much appreciated, good comments, It has been a year and half since it won so im not too worried about that, there may be times when my selection has won last time, it all depends on some little things i look out for.. im not doubting it could run a good race, on occasions i put my faith in maybe one or 2 horses coming in front of him rather than it running a stinker, plus a couple of my lays have been venitia williams which i was warned about coming back to form, so im happy to take it on, if i was to really look deep and try and pick the absolute donkeys then with my perhaps limited knowledge compared to you guys, id have to be looking at the outsiders which would then maybe improve my strike rate but i wouldnt be comfortable with the odds.. cheers :) |

The other two I marked were DALRIATH and MISS PROSS........of those two DALRAIATH might be the one at the finish with DIFFERENT CLASS.....I don't care which one wins, as long as one of em threatens to win.

i once had quite a lot unplaced on the trot so i started to look at it more closely, the day i did quite a few placed, so i think basically it will be ok in long run for the unplace but you can have expensive individual days, so i dont bother, to be honest i only look for them to get beat, some of my selections i actually expect to run a good race and rely on one or two horses to beat them, so i am quite happy for them 2 come third etc.. cheers.. |

I've read this thread with great interest! I am just a humble guy who needs some help from you guys in the forum. I have lost a lot of money (30K+) on BF and want to make some of it back..hopefully with ur help. I havn't really followed my own system as such, I was just using the racingpost site and tried to back horses, mainly favourits :( Anyway, now I just want to find the money I lost and get far away as possible from gambling...appreciate if any of you could help me with this...I was hoping to contact FS. thanks a lot and keep up the good work!!! |

the thing about this trial is that say for example i pick 2 winners tomorrow, which were similar odds to the 2 winners ive had, that would wipe out all 32 succeful lays, so the jury is still out on what the best way to go would be.. whilst i would not expect or had 2 winners in a day up to now, it does raise interesting points.. My average lays are approx 8.4, so over a month with a 90% strike rate, i would wxpect to finish on approx 9.6 pts, thats 6 winners at 8.4 = 44.4 *taken away from 54 points. . So that means i could in effect now have 4 winners out the last 13 days at average odds and finish around + 8 or 9 pts. So perhaps one way would be to finish once you reach 10 points for the month, which could mean as little as 5 days, or in this months case, after something like 14 days, then youve achived a months results of 60 lays @ strike rate of 90% If it takes most the month to obtain this then so be it, but there is every chance of going 5 days consecutively with all losers, withdraw your profit and spend the rest of month enjoying yourself with family etc, then start all over again the followong month.. it takes away the chance of 2 weeks just cancelling out itself, but on the other hand it could be argued the potential of finishing on a large number of points is on the table also going thru the month.. one way to protect your profits would be to reduce your liability. you're laying at 500 pounds stakes, so I believe.. one method I use is to reach a tidy profit at level stakes, and then drop 25% or so for the rest of the day, just in case one bites you on the bumm. keep it up, gl. |
