i just put them all together on this list so i can refer quicjly back to them, its tidier than my hoards of paper, then i noticed hackers comments as i was looking through..

hi gracie, winning at the moment in terms of the challenge but still not made a penny, SKY switched me off yesterday so i cant see the races and ive only got a few hours left on my internet allowance, so up against it at the mo as they say, lol..

In monetary terms, the initial propostion was to have a bank of 10k, 500 per lay ...

So one point equates to 100..

So each lay would be for 5 pts, which would therefore be + 49.5 pts = 4,752 at present (after 4% comm)

Each lay for 1 point would be 950 ( after 4% comm)

Thats after just 14 days, so i can really see why Foot soldiers said he would be happy enough + 10 pts after the moth, which it more or less currently is.

Ive never earned over 2k in a month before in any job ive had so be more than happy with this result every month.. :)

are you still about "just in case" ? or was you just been a bit sarcy, its just i had hacker once tell me ive not got a clue and keep posting my selections so he can back em and make a fortune, hope hes coping with the long losing run!!

i usually finish with approx 7 lays to pick my 2 from and a majority of the others are written down in my pile, not very well organised unfortunately..

One of the most difficult things for me from the start was picking the 2, the most frustrating thing was when i had a "winner" i was looking at the rest on my list come nowhere, its like a double whammy, it happened both days i had a winner that choosing any other on the list would have been successful..

But then i have the odd day where one on my list i didnt pick won the race, so that sort of balanced it out, if you know what i mean..

What i noticed is that i still have quite a high strike rate with my other lays, but as im not posting them up or actually laying them with any coin, they are pretty useless to me, so as soon as i have my 2, the others become irrelevant and ive stopped reverting back to them, id even actually quite happily chuck em away once the 2 are up, because ive felt better since i dont compare and hope ive picked correctly etc,

I am reasonably confident i can do something with my lays long term, whether it be 2 a day, one a day or 8 a day, just need a decent bank and staking plan.

its quite rare i post this early, usually after lunch, so not sure how the prices will go today,

but ive had a fair mix really, ive had a couple that have gone skinnier where theyve been a late gamble, but thats the thing about posting 2 lays an hour or so before the off, you are vulnerable to this happening but i dont mind, i still oppose it and if it goes on to win, i use the odds i posted, although they have actually lost.
i think generally they have drifted a bit but on a few occasions quite considerably, yesterday one was 19 before the off, yet was trading at around 11 most of the time before..

i like to see them drift, once the moneys down so to speak, gives you that little extra encouragment they are not fancied..

When I price up football matches I never look at the price until I've made my own decision - as I don't want to be influenced and I'm looking for value afterall.

Occasionally (when I have the time) I'll price up an easy race - like a novice chase or hunter chase and it's interesting to see where there are diferences. If I expect a horse to be much shorter they are early in the day, often they will shorten. If I could get it down to a more precise science (Some people here claim to have the knack) then profitable trading becomes viable.
