Can't see a lot of profit left in that lot?
By:
May notseeany profit there ivor but surprised at the replies to tigers threads on hr forum :0
By:
How do you count posts please?
By:
Scrap that - silly question
By:
I presume you are referring to khantbebad's assessment of laying NAP Table.
Well there's another one saying the same as many of us already. Don't understand your surprise really. |
By:
True, but why didnt they come on this thread and shout it down, FS too respected? Im not saying it is profitable, i think laying the ones i pointed out are, but its down to each individual to do as they see, ive never known the hr forum to be as caring and helpful b4

lol - he's not a regular there!
By:
The way they're getting out of their prams on horse racing makes you think there must be something in it ;)

Please post here that cartoon of man with bowed head in hands :(

Maybe they don't want people to think it's that easy to make money from racing...
Some of them probably spend hours pouring over the form trying to find a winner, so to have someone say it's as easy as just opposing the RP naps and nbs won't go down to well :) On a serious note though, I'd imagine it would be tough to make a profit from just blindly laying the naps and/or nbs without using some filters...Reckon that certain tipsters would be stronger at different times of the year, on flat/jumps/AW or maybe when they tip specific stables. Probably not the Golden Egg but at the same time I don't think it's the Fools Gold that some on the racing forum are painting it as either... |

Given results like today's 8/11 I suppose you could martingale and stop at a winner - if you had a big enough bank and steel balls.
By:
Martingale :0
Banish him from this forum now :D |
By:
still going strong lads good to see...
34/39 nb have placed. backing each one to place so far could have produced rare profits but you need to work out the average price. when you get winners @ 6.8 and over 7's that a juicey place price. even at an average price of 1.3 i'd be happy to back them using martingale without a shadow of doubt if the strike rate stayed like this over months. u could even bet them to place until one did, what's the chances of all nb not placing in a day ????????? 100's of ways to skin a cat. |
By:
average price is key for this.
By:
then split it up between jumps and flats ;)
By:
nice to see ya soldier !
By:
horses placing on the flat have been exceptional.

By:
Yea good thanks,great thread

In relation to the NBs placing i imagine doubling your stake after every loser would make up for the 1s that got turned over and would maximise profit.
In relation to todays racing the handicapper may have caught up with Bazroy in the 3.35 at linfield and he is a lay for me. |
By:
Guys been following the thread with interest, but can't find the NBs on the rp site. Scuse my ignorance but what are they and where are they?
Much apppreciated Best of luck with your picks today |
By:
I make today's nb selections:
1.50 Dinnie Flanagan 2.10 Harringay 2.55 Circassian 3.05 Wait For The Will 3.15 Marked Man & Downs Folly & Commemoration Day 4.30 Ile de Paris 4.50 Orphelin Collonges & Rock All 8.50 Garrulous |
By:
grabgrind.....'nb' is used by the tipsters to notify the punter that the tip they have given is there 'next best bet of the day'. Their 'nap' selection is the one they feel is the best. If you go through the racecards on the rp site you will see the option for 'tips' above the race details, this will bring up all the tips from various tipsters and you will see on some selections...nap/nb.

By:
sorry...gradgrind.
