Before people moan im just doing this so as i can record some thoughts down and see what i was thinking at times. Was looking at using a blog but cant be arsed siging up. I know im in for some abuse here but ive had it before on here, and i'll get it again.

Ive basically had a torrid time of things and am gonna use this thread to record my p/l, maybe for a while to see if it helps me with my discipline, having lost about 200k in the past 3 months.

Starting bank 10k and as normal i'll be playing IR from home using SIS and RUK.

Right then seconds out round 1 :p

Been losing mainly through been an idiot. Basically won 200k and tried to increase everything.
At least i can say i had a go at the bigger stakes to try and make my millions, but now the big money win has gone its time to go back to basics.

I should say ive put the 10k a day deposit limit on the account as well, as i was crippliung myself with some big day losses.

But gonna go and get ready now lads so will look in later and hopefully update with a + sign later on

A refreshing thread, not that I'm gloating koo because its nice to see some honesty and it will reward you imo. By the way thats what I'm dowin since Feb 6th

Horse Racing: -GBP37,091.92 | Soccer: -GBP100.00 Total P&L: -GBP37,191.92

I've had everything go against me. I've had two horses in the last two days matched heavy at 1.01 that I backed both get beat, I've had horses fall when looking in control. I've laid winners that have looked dead and buried and fought back to win (William Blake).

It will come right, keep believing and drop the stakes down if you have been chasing and get a bit of confidence and self belief back, it can take a knock after a heavy run of losses and it is improtant your mindset is right.

Would actually love to meet up sometime.

I also laid 5 winners on the bounce in February all bigger than 3/1 a personal record.

So now it gets serious.
If you've lost the 200K which you apparently had won, then everything from now on will be a net gain or loss scenario.
At the numbers you're apparently playing at, this could be a thread of very high emotions.
Too much for me to stomach I'm afraid to say.
I wish you all the best. I won't be following/watching, but I hope it doesn't end in complete personal disaster.

At the moment I've decided to play token stakes just to make sure I'm not going to end up losing on the year by doing something daft.

Koo, weren't you the guy who backed the 1000 winner IR a few months ago when someone put up 237 to back it by mistake? You laid some off and won 200k, which is where that figure comes from?

I wonder if making money on here is similar to dieting

the faster you lose weight, the faster you can put it back on
By:
Koo...
When: 07 Mar 08 12:08
Yes Nirvana, i made 228k from that bet. I guess after that i thought i had a comfort zone to bet from. But the comfort zone can get uncomfortable quickly.

I also had some lost bank cards which meant i couldnt withdraw the winnings. So i was left playing with a 6 figure bank. And to start with i was winning so i got used to having the bank and as such found it hard to tell myself to drop the bank back to the levels i was using before the win.

Its all money earnt from here and im still living the life by betting all day and its really something i love doing

And please no mention of diets :( Im about 3-4 stone overweight and starting my latest scheme of losing weight. Which onvolved drinking home made smoothies for dinner and going for a good walk every morning.

I was going to ask you if you withdrew a chunk of your winnings koo. I know it's easy after the event but a break and enjoying your good fortune for a while would have been a good thing. Good luck for the future

my recoird loss for a day was before the big win and was 65k, only managed a paltry 64k after the win :(

That record loss was also on a day i napped a hoss at 40+ on here that won. How can you lose when your nap is a 40's shot lol

I've never heard such an idiotic abuse of good fortune, if true.
I revise my earlier thread.
It is absolutely certain that it is all going to end in a train wreck.
Nothing could be surer.
I hope you don't think it was either smart or funny to so irresponsibly blow 200 K, which you were only lucky to win oin the 1st place.
If this thread is not a total wind up ( which I sincerely hope it is ) , then you are well on the way to being voted the BF jackass of the year if not of all time.

Its feeekkking hard work trying to work to a smaller bank. Am down a few grand so far but a long way to go and at least i know if io drop the 10 i cant do any really bad damage so thats a bit of a relief.

This heavy ground at Ayr has killed me so far.

By:

When: 07 Mar 08 16:38
The Magicians thing is his thing - im just trying to help there in a diofferenet venture to mine.

Cheers the Sports Trader

Well what a first day to be posting.............. it was nearly all over for the 10k bank after 3 races, but thankfully my pre race lay off Downs Folly was proved ok as it again dogged it totally up the run in. Managed to find myself 5-6k down twice early on as i found it incredibly difficult to play smaller than i had been.

Managed to play well for a while but still had that massive urge to lump on something and the one i wanted to hammer was You DO The Math as i didnt like the other 2 in the market. However i reisted and won a few quid only there.

Did well late on but was a bit hairy on The Bajan Bandit and had that got beat this would all sound massively different as iod be more tempted not to post until id chase on the AW tonight. :)

Potentially an interesting thread, koo. Makes a change from the endless "I'm gonna make a squillion kwid backing 1.01" threads!

However we play the osses it's a tough son of a ** to stay focused for sustained periods with the inevitable ups and downs in our results.

gl with the comeback, you have the belief to make it happen :)

yes semisonic................ win some lose. POintless moaning about it oo much and better trying to get things back together

I tell you whats hard though............. fighing all day to get back level. Managed it and got my nose in front then laid the one at wolves that won and back to 2k down on the day :(

The hard part being not trying to get it all back here but ploaying it and seeing it as though its just any other race, if i can do that consistently then ive cracked it :)

I basically have 1 account, but can sub divide it into smaller accounts all funded from the main one. So you can use different accounts for different types of betting and as such you have different accounts and can choose differeent forum names
