another one that was subject to a late gamble after I got the bet on. S/P was 6.95 but it traded at odds on I/R! Well beaten into third after that though.

i'd take another £500 from your bank now, it'll have made this a profitable exercise now for when the inevitable bullet hits. Good luck

Johnny Wad, well done and continued success.

A great example of less is more in the long run.

A streak of 24, many can only speculate if they could do it.

Roll on 30!

a lot! was thinking about that myself, I'll probably trawl back through at some point and work it out but if anyone fancies doing it then don't let me stop you. I would hazard a guess at £7k ish by now

whilst compounding is good the way you're operating it makes sound financial sense to withdraw profit as your bank is growing way beyond its means and you can still withdraw substantial amounts whilst still seeing a good growth of your bank. Ignore that advice if you're not bothered about the money and just want to see how fast and far you can grow your bank until it eventually goes bust, it would be a shame to see this come to an end without you making a fantastic profit though.

By:

Buzzer - cheers for all your sensible advice it's very much appreciated. When I started this it was just a bit of fun and I wasn't too bothered about the £250 really, but with every bet, except a couple, being over a 10% return the bank has risen much faster than expected. It's given me the comfort of a guaranteed profit along with a decent bank to continue decent rises.

Not sure what I will do now but it probably involve banking a reasonable amount again.

I was chatting with a mate over the weekend about this and we were talking about the French open bets. After nadal's far from convincing 3-0 win bet that I had last week, I jokingly suggested that I should lay Nadal for my whole bank in his next match! The next day 1.02 was gubbed !!! I would have been £100k richer ha ha

buzzer - I do work but Betfair has been a decent part time income for me since November using the same steady approach. I decided to try this because I had a poor couple of weeks, i needed a break from the norm and to stave of the temptation to upstakes and start chasing. Not yet decided what to do going forward
