MAte this is tremendous work really, and you are reaping the rewards from having such a high starting bank.
I am running something very similar myself but started with only £2. My bank currently sits at £44.15 so as everybody can see this type of betting can be hugely profitable, if you know a bit about the sport your betting. All the best mate and I hope your good results continue! |

ok a few people last night and a couple more today have said I should bank some of this before it goes pearshaped. Cheers for the advice I would have been saying the same thing if it was someone else doing this.
Well since the 10th bet I have thought that if I get to half way I'll review the winnings and bank something. Even though it started out as a bit of fun, the money is real and not to be sniffed at. The orginal staking plan of 10% a bet less 5% commission would have me at £975 by Bet 15 so I can afford to bank £500 now, and possibly more later if I get similar percentages to those achieved already then still achieve a profit of around £4k if I manage the 30 bet target. So here are the figures now STARTING BANK = £250 BANKED = £500 CURRENT BANK = £940.01 CURRENT PROFIT = £1190.01 |

wots u r selection criteria for horses jw? Brian I'm new to laying at these sorts of prices as I'm normally a backer of value selections and only lay under 4.0. In UK races, for the purposes of this challenge I'm sticking with handicap races and it depends on the number of runners (going for biggish fields) but I study them the same as if backing then I normally land on a couple that wouldn't be in my top 4 choices that are in the top part of the market. Then it's whether there's been much market support, generally early doors rather than close to the off. I mainly bet on US races these days and I put up a couple on here last night and am adopting a similar approach but with more confidence. The only problem is the lack of liquidity in the markets makes it very difficult to get the bet on at a price that is of any value. |
