good thread fatalstatistics, i just wondered, and i know you may feel it's giving away some of the value you've aquired, if you have a selection at 50 or over and it's late in the game (80 mins or so) if it's worth laying your selection for = green or at least getting your original stake back. I used to frown upon it myself but when i went back over figures you're usually getting exeptional prices at 33-1 and over (the 20% better prices definetely comes into play here, more often than not at least) hence you may find if you lay late when the prices are at least correct or possibly in your favour it's possible to maximise your potential profits. Just a thought as sometimes it can become disconcerting when a big price just fails short of the finish line. Good luck.

obviously i realise the market is, in the main, efficient due to the nigh on 100% book but the 'obvious' or should i say expected scorelines are still overbet, yet late in the game the market is usually in line with real expectations/outcomes and you wouldn't be giving away too much of your value, if any at all. Hope that makes sense.

Buzzer, you clearly know what you're on about -
and thanks for the input !! but the appeal of this method is in fact 'backing' the right Cs in the first place, and the bigger the odds (Value) the better of course. And although 'greening out' is recommended by many on here.. if i can continue a ROI of 10% or more at level stakes thru this method, my friend i aint gunna be worried about greening out anyway. I just be happy as a pig in mud. |
