Gol!
Nice one foin |
By:
That was cool
Finland deserved better against Norway but this has been dire. |
By:
cashed that one, thank you very much.
By:
Half expected that, it's a tough old game.
By:
Yep goals bring goals in games like this
where there is lots of jeopardy |
By:
I feel sorry for the Finns, they really fought hard.
By:
Roller coaster ride for their emotions
but that's footy. |

Group B tonight. Portugal have to win and make up a 3 goal deficit (Spain may help with that), Italy need to avoid defeat.
I've backed Portugal at 1.9. Considering Spain's understandably skinny price I will wait and hope it lengthens in play. Italy appear to have a sound defence so I think they might be able to keep them at bay for a while. |
By:
very interesting name for a stadium hosting the italy v spain game
By:
Just noticed an error in my post, the goal difference is 6.
By:
Italy were shocking against Portugal. Can't see how Spain won't win even with a reserve side.
By:
What do you know about Portugal Foinavon? Or Belgium. I though Belgium looked ok the other day scoring twice!
By:
well well, you never know with womens teams, so inconsistent. 1-0
By:
Not looking good for Portugal now but a good time to back Spain!
By:
I've done a Desmond for an interest.
By:
1-1, has a chance slippy
By:
Wow, I got in there in the nick of time

By:
I've bit the bullet on Portugal, as they say, run the winners and cut the losers.
By:
The Spain game is entertaining
I think Spain are trying as they want a place the starting line up Italy playing 5/4 so it may be difficult to break down but they are really good and I am on at -1 |
By:
I watched the games WD, I thought Portugal were good enough to beat Belgium and would be motivated to do so. They still could but I decided to take a small loss rather than risk a bigger one.
Spain can look fragile at the back but I'm sticking with them for now. |
By:
Are you still holding your draw back at Lords? I think it has further to run.
By:
ref takes the easy out and gives offside, a bit dodgy, imo.
By:
Yes, a charmed life, I've cashed out. Slippy's Desmond looks like a good call.
By:
tbf, it was a bit offside
By:
Draw and India Foinavon
Yes its is on a knife edge tbh but I am to hold out for another 40 overs and the second new ball then see. |
By:
A lot depends on Pant but he's a good player.
By:
Do you fancy Germany v Sweden tomorrow?
I do although they may rest players as England are up next I think? |
By:
It's all a one way street now. Italy not getting the breaks anymore.
By:
I haven't looked at it yet Whispering, should be evenly matched but as both have qualified it could be anything.
By:
Esther Gonzaleeeeeeeeez. Spain -1
By:
Talk about luck!
Cleaned up yesterday’s loss! |
By:
Well done Whispering. I made a small loss on the night. Should have stuck with Spain instead of chickening out after the penalty review. Shoulda coulda woulda

I thought Italians played well against a very, very good team. I think they just lacked a wee bit belief on transition opportunities.
By:
Yes, and of course they didn't need to, as Belguim were doing their work for
them against Portugal. |
By:
Germany and Denmark for me tonight
By:
Just watching WD although I have had a bet on Flamengo tonight. I see the Aussie openers are having a torrid time on a green top at Sabina Park, It's usually bare clay over there.
By:
Watching the football!
Meant to have a bigger single on Germany ![]() Got doubles with Denmark ![]() Thank you Blackstenius |
By:
Germany 1 Sweden 1 already.
By:
Yes, I'm watching the footy too but keeping one eye on the cricket score.
By:
Germany look so much better but their defending must give England some hope!
