Looking good but it's not over 'til it's over as the man said.

Any other draw is 140, so sticking a few quid on it just in case / to breakeven

Spain are the best team in the tournament, and those who backed them at 5/2 have got a good price. However, when I've watched them recently they have looked less than convincing, a little jaded even. That's not to say they won't win the comp, they probabaly will, but I just wonder if a fresh, young France side with lots of pace, could beat them in a one-off game. I'm not sure that the quality in the womens' game is sufficiently high to definitively predict that one team is that much better than all the rest. On any given day France, England or maybe Germany could get the breaks and do enough to scrap for a win, or get to pens, when it will be a coin toss.
By:
Yep that is the general perceived view. They should win but are but nailed on.
They do not look to be playing like Champions |
By:
True, the women's game is much more volatile. I don't think they have the same mental strength as the men's pros, and the standard opens the door for freak goals, etc.

spain into 1.96 in the outright

Any thoughts on Portugal V Italy?
Portugal lost 5-0 to Spain, Italy beat Belgium 1-0 Italy look short at 1.74 and with only one goal between them so far it might be low scoring. The market is currently 1.88 for unders. |
By:
Is this French pundit any good , sounds it.
By:
Blimey
Catenacci! |
By:
italy look a decent 1.74 chane imvho
By:
Against Belgium Italy scored just before HT. Looking at the second half stats Belgium only had one shot at goal.
I think I'll put my faith in Italy's defence and back 0-0 with a view to cashing out at around 35 minutes and BTTS :no |
By:
Italy play Spain in their final game so will want to get something from this one.
By:
This is not a straightforward call
By:
0-0 cashing out now
By:
Well done Hanibal.
I love it when a plan comes together! |
By:
Thanks, 80% roi. Turned out 35 mins would have been safe but there were a couple of close calls. Btts:No still running. Italy back line looks good but their goalie looks quite small and had to stretch for a dangerous cross.
By:
Early second half always seems to be a dangerous time for goals so I have converted the BTTS:no to a bet to nothing at a cost of 22 ticks. No pressure now although it looks like a single goal will win it for either side.

By:
Good goal time for me to cash out. GL the Dragon.
By:
A lovely chip. Portugal deserve to get something
By:
Tried to lay italy but was too slow DAMNNNN! Literally counting down at 1.12
By:
But yeah, lots of volatility in these games. Most don't have it in them to close it out
By:
That's tough Lifter, we have all been there.
By:
Cheers Foin, it comes with the territory
By:
I left the Germany game with Germany winning 1-0. Took me a while to realise that Denmark were winning 1-0!
By:
Can Germany cause Spain some problems particularly in the air?
By:
Gone for Sweden -1 and -2
By:
Do we fancy England today v Netherlands?
By:
Hope so wd, sadly ive no confidence in them
but fingers crossed. |
By:
No confidence whatsoever as a betting prospect WD. Mesdemoiselles should put clear water between themselves and the Welsh ladies and that's the one I'm going for. I will watch both matches of course.
Well done with your Sweden bets. |
By:
Thanks,
I have gone for England ante post as I feel there will be a reaction and evens is decent enough for me. What are you thinking France -2 or -3? Some times these are hard to call. If they go 2-0 up they may coast and preserve energy. I will probably stick with -2 at 6/5 That will be enough to cover my advance crickets bets. |
By:
Also thinking about and England -1 as it is a knockout match now. If England do go 1-0 Dutchies will have to go for it
By:
2-0 and 3-0. Not backing until closer to the off and might put a saver on aohw in running depending how I perceive play. Your handicap bets are safer of course which is in the price.

I'm starting with a back of India for tomorrow WD. Even if they lose the toss they might still have a bat first!
By:
Stokes may be hoping to lose toss, and field!
By:
It would be funny if Stokes won the toss batted and England went 5 down before lunch!
I think India do look good Foinavon. I think playing Carse is a mistake even though I like him. India look fresher Too many unknown unknowns for me. I got a strange but contrarian view that the pitch might be good and both sides could score 500 or one side gets under 200! I just feel an England lay gives you more opportunities to recover or take a small hit if it goes against you. Laying at evens is attractive to me with so much uncertainty as I do believe two teams are relatively well matched and have been separated only by luck and bad calls at the toss. I dua have the best strike bowler and should be favourites but I want to have the safety of the draw before throwing money at a result |
By:
You don't often see a draw unless some time is lost to the weather. It is always possible but prematch draw prices have been getting longer to reflect this. It would be nice to get an 8/1 winner though.
By:
-Lauren James is kwality and Lauren hemp on the other side is on it too. I think England had 57% possession against France despite not bossing the midfield. Only managed to get a small bet on at -1 but great start! Decent bet on England. England look dangerous up front. Good movement. |
By:
A shot from Lauren James that most male strikers would be proud of. I wish they would carry on being aggressive though. Too much back and sideways since the goal.
By:
Absolute stroll for England. Could easily be 4-0. Netherlands no pace, no energy, offering nothing. Well taken goal from James, but you always get the impression she is playing in second gear. Goal made up for that feeble headed attempt.

2 decent finishes, would be nice to
score playstation goals over worldies but take what comes and move on. Keep back door shut and jobsagoodun |
