Yes, the pack is starting to close the gap. There is still time for them to turn this game around. I'm a little shocked to see Fleetwood losing to bottom club Morecambe after beating Walsall last time out. So inconsistent. I can see Port Vale losing again after that early sending off, time will tell.

hard division to make monet out of
|
|
By:
I haven't found an easy division yet. I hardly dare mention Burnley who have served me well so far in case their defence goes to pieces.
I see Barrow have just gone behind, they will be in a relegation battle before long if this continues. |

They have got one back. I've just cashed out my Burnley BTTS,(only gave back 10%) no point in tempting providence

Tonight's contest between near neighbours Chesterfield and Doncaster is likely to be a hard fought game.
Donny are slight favourites but Chesterfield are a tough nut to crack at home having drawn half their games and lost only two. It will have a bearing on the promotion struggle at the top of league 2. My guess is another draw, probably 1-1. A pity it's not being shown on Sky+ |
|
By:
You never know which Donny will turn up. I thought they would make a game of it considering their winning streak but no. Leaves the door open to the pack but they will at least keep a top 3 place for this weekend. Chesterfield will be hoping for a play off spot and are still 5 points adrift of seventh place.

no stand out fixtures this weekend and i reckon a few home priced shorties cd land the odds including crewe, salford, notts co and bradford.
walsall travel to Colu which given walsalls recent form cd be anything. swindon v port vale shd be interesting given the recent good form of both teams. |

Good afternoon, The Dragon, I hope you are feeling better, good luck with your selections.
I was looking at some of these for the correct score competition and a Salford home win (my guess 3-0) and Barrow-Gills draw (guess 0-0 the lowest price I've ever seen for this result).are top of my list. Notts should win (2-0 or 3-1 perhaps). Swindon-Port Vale looks like a draw. Walsall have started scoring again and as you say the game at Colchester could be anything. Fleetwoodv Cheltenham looks drawish too. |

I had something similar before Christmas. It feels nasty at the time but should start to clear in two or three days. Good luck.

got the draw 3-3 wow

I see Carlisle are in front. They had Notts Co on the back foot during the last 20 minutes of the game at Meadow Lane, they are not going down without a fight.

lost 2-1 as did walsall good win for bradford notts co and salford
crewe cost me the 4 time acca 0-3 at home to newport wtf ![]() |

I didn't have any direct bets The Dragon (perhaps I should have done, 3 correct results out of 5 and one correct score out of 4 from Friday's post) I just had bets on derivatives but don't want to after time.
Crewe are looking vulnerable now as they don't seem able to score and Walsall continue the slide. I feel certain they will be caught by Notts and AFC Wimbledon. Doncaster will be thereabouts but are inconsistent. Port Vale are hanging on and Salford continue to improve their chances. Barrow will be relieved by today's result but Gillingham will be looking over their shoulder and hoping to reach the magic 50 points. |

begiining to look a lot more open at the top foin interesting stuff

Three strong home favourites tonight, Walsall, Bradford and Wimbledon. They should all win but I'm not tempted by those prices. The other three games look close to me and the MK Dons price looks particularly generous. I am going to have a small punt on the 3 visitors MK Dons, Fleetwood and Carlisle. Fingers crossed.

Hey Foin FLEETWOOD are my bet tonight in this League at a decent 7/5 away at Tranmere.
Fleetwood are on the improve with 4 wins in 6 including wins v Salford, Walsall MKD and cheltenham. Their away form is a bit dodgy but they are playing Tranmere who are rock bottom of the form league having lost 5 and drawn 1 in the last 6. Tranmere's home form v the top half teams is also ropey with only 1 win and 4 losses in 7 games. Im hoping Fleetwood will be too strong for them. I cant see past home wins for Bradford and Walsall. MKD are an egnigma and Carlisle cd be anyrthing against an eratic Newport. GL with your bets |
|
By:
Thanks the Dragon, a double thumbs up for Fleetwood then. Good luck with your bets too.
|
|
By:
cheers- lets hope we are both in profit by the end of the evening

That was disappointing, especially MK Dons who opened the scoring then contrived to lose. Walsall slipped up again, they are not the same since Lowe left. Bradford are steadily grinding out results and Wimbledon's task was made easier by a first half sending off and penalty.
Port Vale host Notts County on Thursday, should be a close contest. |
|
By:
yes i had a good night yesterday from a betting perspective but the fleetwood draw was disappointing
walsall seems as though the wheels are coming off ![]() |
|
By:
Tranmere V Fleetwood started in a lively fashion and I felt sure there would be goals but not to be.
I watched some of the game at Barrow too and would advise caution when they are playing at home. The two recent games there that I have watched were marred by a poor playing surface, last night it was bumpy making ball control difficult and the previous one was in heavy rain and the ball sticking and skidding. |

Thanks Foin - useful info

Tonight's game is too close to call, both teams are strong defensively. Unders is 10/11 but I decided to have a small bet on 1-1 at 6/1. Hopefully no early goals.
|
|
By:
unlucky foin 1-0
|
|
By:
Sometimes they go in, sometimes they don't. Did you watch the game? Logically I should have done unders but was tempted by the much bigger odds of the correct score bet.
|
|
By:
no didnt watch it.. too much on but still studying the stats

only bet this weekend in this div is colchestr to win at carlilse .. not a strong bet coz carlilse may ko under hughes but ion form they look a good bet at 7/5
|
|
By:
I think Wimbledon will be too strong for Salford tomorrow (my correct score guess 1-0 or 2-0). Morecambe v Accrington might be a no score bore, the visitors have a 7 point cushion and will not want to risk losing this one. Most of tomorrow's games are hard to call as usual with this division.

walsall losing 8 mins wow

By:
vwd on wombles foin hope u did 1-0

By:
Thanks the Dragon, I'm doing OK today although Morecambe have just scored to blow the icing off the cake.
I chose the wrong Wimbledon score for the competition, it's not unusual as someone from Wales once said. |
|
By:
Three promotion candidates in action tonight. They won't all win, it's not the way it works in practice is it? I don't think any of them will be high scoring affairs but I'm not tempted to have a bet tonight, good luck if you do.
