not much change in the market prices still 7/2 for the lay
By:
You need a big pot to be laying them and it will be tiring your money for some time.

How have recent pre season favourites fared in the Championship ?
By:
i will lay them on a regular basis over the season seaside depending n how things go-that will build it into a decent pot as such. nothing massive and it does give me a seasons long question.
i think leicester were favs at the srart tiger and they won it but not without a few wobbles |

3 decent teams dropping down (LUTON< BURNLEY and SHEFF UTD)
You reckon ![]() I thought they were way worse than the typical relegated trio. Luton did have entertaining games at least. Previous season Leicester/Southamton/Leeds were relegated and they were all comfortably better than Luton, never mind the other two. 7/2 seems short for this division but it does look weaker than usual. |

Three decent teams dropping into the Championship? Who? I agree with tobermory.
Leeds have no need to sell any further players if we dont want to and will be making more signings soon, yes, 7/2 looks skinny but we wont be far away. |
By:
Yep, lets have a look at the in's and out's first.
By:
Leeds have never been the same since they sold Cantona.
By:
He was a benchwarmer in the main when we won the league under Wilkinson.
By:
when i said decent teams i was speaking relativley compared to the other teams in the championship
By:
I felt Leeds peaked in late February last season, sort of drifted for the last 2 or 3 months which will not give them much chance of the winning the Championship if they continue like that next season.
They have left lost their best young player, Gray, and Premier clubs are sniffing around Summerville, probably their best player.. Leeds still have parachute payments and this gives them an enormous advantage nowadays over the vast majority of Championship teams - 7/2 looks like about fair odds. |
By:
well i wrote hell of a lot and it didnt post not typing it all again
By:
I have backed Luton at 12.0.
The Premier league is stronger than it ever was. The relegated teams will be up there for sure. |
By:
I actually think Leeds are a great bet at these odds. They have an enormous finanical advantage and finally got a decent striker in Mateo
By:
Agree Lifte. 4.5 seems a superb price. Make them comfortably shorter than that.
By:
seems like i am in the minority here
good with that... still off loading players who are of value ![]() |
By:
14/5 to lay now
shortening in price in the outrights ![]() |
By:
1.35 today at home to newly promoted portsmouth
lay lay lay |
By:
Fair odds. What would Arsenal be at home to Ipswitch? This is extremely one-sided

Ipswich**

Great shout Dragon.

one sided 3-3 draw

Stunning strikes from Portsmouth
By:
thanks plat .... decent start for sure
By:
lay is 3/1 now... mmmm back in for a bit more gents

Just seen the highlights of the Leeds V Pompey game and Pompey really rode their luck. Leeds hit the wood work three times in the first 8 minutes. Pompey managed to score 3 goals with 5 goal attempts. A fair representation would have been 3-1 to Leeds.
By:
They had enough chances to win 4 games. Just one of those freak results. While Leeds have a bit more work to do, especially in shot of goal, I wouldn't write them off on this one draw.
By:
they are away at WBA next game which will not be an easy fixture
the lay is 11/10 |
By:
I am with Lifter and AR...I make Leeds a stand out bet at 3/1....I have them a good bit shorter than that..GL
By:
Looked like champions elect in the first 20 mins but then reverted to type for the remainder of the game. Will need a few decent players in to have any chance of promotion this season. Can't see the owners being too patient with Farke so unless he gets his act together, may not out last Rooney. Potter in!
By:
I do think Farke is a liability
By:
0-3 Boro in the midweek cup game.
They are beginning to drift and are 4/1 to lay now. I am hgreeen aklready and they have a tough game away at WBA at the weekend. Not a good start for sure but still early days |
By:
Dont get this at all.......got to say though out of EFL cup and rocket up the arse...good win at Hawthorns on saturday back to 3.5
By:
The drift looked an overreaction, but just seen they've sold another of their best players. Rutter to Brighton. What are the owners doing?
By:
56% of the goals scored under Farke were scored or assisted by players no longer at the club. Need to make some buys int he next 2 weeks or Dragon has won the easiest lay of his life
By:
0-0 ft v wba another lay landed, poor start from leeds not one win in 3 games
By:
Excellent point today.Would have settled for that before the game.Still undefeated in the league.
By:
going to have to be busy in transfer market if want promotion
