yes only small at this stage easykc but it is green- wont cash out and let it ride- gives me interest as the season goes on . i also layed brum and leeds pre season as you may have seen from different threads.
ive cashed out for a loss on brum as i think they will win it- leeds are ridiciously short now at evens on here - im letting that one ride and its currently red |

Wondered if this was the moment I could green up my lay bet, but amazing they are only 5.0 on the exchange. If anything worth going in again. Real chance is probably about 25/1 I would have thought, as City would need a points deduction this season and Liverpool a collapse. Both eventualities unlikely even though more than 2/3rds of season to go. Arsenal were excellent last season in the PL, but not quite hitting the same level this season or getting much luck with match results and injuries.

Arsenal had a 10-point lead one x'mas but was overtaken by City with at least a game to spare. A reliable keeper is a must eg Shilton under Clough/Taylor at Notts Forest managing a bunch of misfits to the League and European Cup.

When Arsenal lost to Leeds, Man United were already 1 pt ahead with 2 games left, United won both games, so the Leeds result irrelevant.

Did Arsenal not have a 10-point lead at any time whether it was leading up to one x'mas recently, and overtaken by City? I know my memory is not good these days however, whether it was 8-points of 10 points at any time or leading up to x'mas did not hide the fact Arsenal led but unshipped only a short few months later.
I understand it's difficult for any ardent emotional Arsenal fan their team succumbed despite leading by a monumental margin of points just a short few months prior to the end. |

they're wrong, if ever there was an 8 point lead, it would only have been after Arsenal had played their game in a given game week and the team below had yet to play there's.

Same here, laid them @ 2.84 on the 15th Aug and @ 1.3 top two finish in July. Was intending to lay off after difficult first six matches, but they did better than I expected. Which sort of indicates they haven't been that good since; much more inconsistent compared to last season. On their day look very good; suited to CL I think.
