I think that Semenyo does best in games where sides come at them and they can counter, where they are the big dog and have to break sides down it's often a struggle for them with little space, consequently I see the upcoming games against West Ham, Sunderland and Everton as potentially tricky and he does have the injury question as well.
|
|
By:
He'll free up a good few quid that will help address a couple of other issues I've got.
|
|
By:
He's got a decent shot on him so low blocks
don't impact him too much, I think the injury is a problem, as is increased awareness of him by opposing managers. He'll get the xaha treatment and refs will just allow it. |

I know YHTL explained it last year, but it’s a bit of a con transferring players. Semenyo was brought by me for £7.6m. He’s now £8.1. Yet if I transfer him out I only get £7.6m back.

![]() I still have much to learn about these rules... ![]() |

I can’t see any logical reason why you don’t get the value they are when you sell.
Your squad value allows for the fluctuations. |
|
By:
Bought at £7.6, value now £8.1, means you sell at £7.8.
When you move up £0.2, you get £0.1 back. |
|

Now we know. Thanks Goddess.
This morning I want to sign McTominay, Shankland, Tierney and McLean! ![]() |
|

That’s not how it’s working for me. I’ve got £2.9 in the kitty, if I transfer him out then it goes up to £10.5m. That’s the £7.6m I paid for him. As I say he’s £8.1m now, so even with those figures it should be £200k more. Still think you should get the amount they are at the time of selling. There’s no agents involved!
|
|
By:
Gabriel and Mbuemo are both £300k more now than when I brought them. Transfer them out and only the original fee is added. Should be £100k more for each again on those figures.
It’s fairly trivial and the same for all but it doesn’t make sense. |
|
By:
My squad value is £102.1. If I transfer every player out then my budget is £100.7m!!
|

Let's Talk FPL saying GABRIEL out for 1 to 2 months, so could be out until the new year.
SELL SELL SELL. |
|
By:
Usually you get half of the increase when you sell them.
I'm not sure it shows until it's done, although decreases seem instantly to impact values. |
|
By:
Gabriel will be sold by loads so price will go down.
|
|
By:
If you buy a player for 7.1 million and he is now 8.1 million you get 7.6 million
You could have been looking at the selling price and not the purchase price |
|
By:
You will still have gained 0.5 million , the only downside is if you want the player back later
he will cost at the moment 8.1 million |
|
By:
I consider myself lucky with just 1 yellow, like you said Kenbo some have 3 or 4. Got two free transfers.
I like the idea of holding Gabriel if he is out for 3 - 5 weeks actually, especially with a free hit in play, considering selling and re buying him is worth 2 frees. But hearing 1 - 2 months means it could be 7 - 9 games out, obviously have to get rid if it is going to be that long. |
|
By:
If you go to Transfer page, and click on list view, you can see all your players current price, what their price was when you bought them, and the price you get for selling them.

Great post. Ty.

Nice one, MSM and Tribal.
![]() I actually paid £7.2m for Semenyo. He’s gone up £900k. Would get £400k of that if sold on. Rubbish!! |

I’ve ditched Gabrial for VVD. Minus four!
|
|
By:
I've ditched Gabriel for Nunes.
|
|
By:
I've got Raya but don't want to go back in with a double Arsenal defence until they show that Gabriel's absence hasn't weakened them unduly.
|
|
By:
Wise thinking.

Whoever gets Gabriel replacement right gets
big benefits. Nearly half of folk have him. |

Have brought in Ekitike in the expectation that over the next four games he goes on a spree, and made him captain. He was looking good pre-break. Have also brought back Szoboslai ( in deference to Gravenberch ) and kept Fernandes as the only United player. Just can’t ditch him. No xpectation of huge progress, sadly.
Good luck all, may all you selections be selected. ![]() |
|
By:
I brought in Ekitike a couple of games back, hasn't done anything as of yet, Isak still out and their favourable games means I'll stick with him for now but patience is wearing thin.
What's happened is the addition of Isak has muddied the waters, Ekitike started the season brilliantly but was then benched in order to make way for the 125 million pound white elephant and has not recaptured that form since he's been brought back in. |

I haven't been able to make many changes to my team recently due to a spell in hospital, and I've done ok as a result. I was dreading logging on to my team to see how far down my leagues I had gone, but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I tinker with my team too much, so I've just changed my formation to 4-3-3 and let's see what happens.

Welcome back FP, hope you're all well and good now

What was your spell in hospital all about?
Welcome back FP, hope you're all well and good now I'll second that. ![]() |

This moderating is getting silly. Can only assume I’ve got a pending post because of the word ‘pe nis’.

|
By:
Seconded here too.

I was hospitalised because I have issues with my size and I have mobility problems, but I'm back at home and on the mend now. I'm back at work next Friday.
|
|
By:
Glad to hear you’re on the mend.
![]() It’s never worth starting back to work on a Friday. Make it the Monday instead! |

Good luck fatpunt, take care and get back to your best soon.

Hope you're recovering well, FP.
