Well done lump on but without a ROI % and a total bank figure so folks can work out what sort of risk you are taking on its worthless tbh.
If it's just about selections, then post them up b4 but a I wonned this or that after the event is OK for a part timer but a potential pro needs to offer much more. Because you sayed a figure of winnings I doubt you will post the percentages, but that would help everyone including you if you did. Al you have done is aftertimed imvho, good luck and hope you keep wining but only person that knows about possible full time potential is you, noone could comment without more info. Besides its your apptitude for dealing with the losses, resistance to chasing ect that marks the wheat from the chaff. |

your punting large enough to give it a go.....also large enough to attract the premium charge and once you do the sportsbook site is no longer available to you.....

There's plenty other sites if all he plays is top flight footy

Affordability checks are a hot topic and I see some punters being reduced to 100 pounds a month.
Imagine a starting bank of £100, is an average daily profit of £10 feasible, do it for a year and bank is approximately £3500 allowing for a couple of weeks holidays. It sounds simple, but why then do so many people lose betting, is the percentage figure of losing punters over 90%? I think it is,but surely anyone can win a tenner day. 10% is not imo feasible but 1% is, and if so why am I not making fortunes betting? |
|
By:
1% a day would net you a fortune, if you could do that every day for years. people underestimate that concept of compound interest - try it in a spreadsheet multiplying previous figure by 1.01. but even if you do understand it, it's still much harder to do in reality. once the bank gets bigger, the stakes would get eye wateringly large. plus it takes an enormous amount of discipline to maintain that momentum and you've still got to find value/an edge in your picks somewhere, even to make your 1%
|
|
By:
The other reason people don't do it is because despite what the results would be if you were successful, to start with it just isn't "exciting" enough, for lack of a better explanation.
Tell someone to start with a 100, try and make a tenner and then go for a walk until tomoz and pretty much everyone will say no thanks...even when you explain that they will end up millionaires they will say no thanks. Same thing when someone decides to change from backing to laying, as soon as they hit a winner most will cave. |
|
By:
Good points a typical Friday morning (but not this morning), Aussie A League make a tenner or whatever target is by 11 o'clock, and no bet until Saturday.
Saturday morning same thing and then wait until Sunday, very difficult in practice. |
|
By:
it is also a very poor strategy. Every successful enterprise takes advantage of opportunities when they are available, it doesn't ignore them and hope there will be some more tomorrow.
