U layed Leipzig for 350?
|
|
By:
0 - 0 WITH lay of the draw - gives you an option of getting out with some profit at half time if no goals. But not if it is a big favourite like man city - the lower the lay of the draw price the better if you get to half time

20k is not enough to live on.....based on an 8 hour 5 day week it is under a tenner an hour which is minimum wage......i noticed from your graph from month 9 you were around 8000 up which was averaging around £50 a day.....with the last three months giving you the boost.....i would say you should keep working and keep doing what you are doing and if you can double your profit in the next 12 months building up a working tank then chance your hand at full time......

Bets on early days were much lower as bank wasn’t big enough to support large bets. Betting bigger now. I was more asking for others to share as I know my one is nowhere near quiting job for . I know we have folk on here that lay well over the 1k mark as have studied market moves on big footy games …..
I have took 7k out my bankroll so I know I’m free rolling and I’m going to boom or bust with that. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Rather try than quit with that always in my back of my mind……. It’s only cash lads |

unless your still tucked up with mum with no overheads its not just cash its living.......you need to pay for everything in life and then whats left is profit.....it sounds like you have already made up your mind so good luck but for true full time you probably need to win around £40-50k a year so your turnover will be somewhere between £150-350k and should you reach that level of profit you will be paying the premium charge.......it is a bit more than just staying home and backing winners although that is the job description.....

So would it be fair to say that you are basically betting odds on lump on.
You also need to factor in pension, health care benefits etc, that conventional employment provides. |

"Fantastic Trevh
This is why a started this chat to hear others. Do you mind sharing (not your bets) staking plan ,target areas. Ave profit year on year." lumpOn, I level stake. Play all sports but mostly football. Average about 700 matched bets per week. I made good money in the first few years hence hitting the super pc bracket, but nowadays I make a modest living 30-40k over a year. It's a much harder game now judging from what I am experiencing. The punters aren't here, we need new blood. Not sure what the Purple Daq is like nowadays, it was quiet when I last looked a couple of years ago, will now be even quieter I would guess. BF Exchange could become huge if it was actually more usable, most punters look at the website and give up. I don't blame them, it's dreadful. I use Gruss software which makes navigation and placing bets simple. If the website was replaced with something so simple it would attract many more people who don't even know that API software exists. I don't think BF are interested though. |

The most important points are What is your job and if you leave it, can you return to a similar position? Do you have six months living expenses set aside on top of your bankroll (which should be at the very minimum 50 bets)? And what do you do when exchange betting/betting in general become so dried up by all the gambling restrictions in modern society...go back to work? ![]() |

lump-on i am not taking the p1ss but put up the monthly breakdown for 1st November 23 and 10th December 23....dont just show the good ending as it gives a false picture and when those months happen.....and they will....you need to be able to withstand and stay focussed dont forget if its full time there is nothing else coming in....

Stu's last post is a very pertinent one. None of us really knows what the future has in store for this place, but, as Trevh points out, there's already a lack of punters on many markets (not all, admittedly), and once the government's current plans kick in, you have to think it's likely to get even thinner (with UK money at least). Will BF be able to replace that with money from elsewhere? Who knows. What we do know is that liquidity breeds liquidity, and once it's gone, it's only a matter of time before the death spiral occurs.
As such, I am increasingly minded to think that you should be looking to get from it what you can, while you still can (which is ironic when you think about the premise of the whole "safer gambling" b0llocks). (40% PC payer currently trying to branch out into more liquid markets) |

Watch out for bet356 profits for effects of
gambling restrictions. Surely they will be bell weather here, as they grew without the restrictions. |

No gambling restrictions in America I don`t think YHTL? Or is there?
She had adverts at all the Baseball parks last year to suggest that she is planning to conquer USA. Yanks are mental on their slot machines. Right down their streak. Mugs mean bigger profits. |

Yeah, overseas earnings are not
affected by UK regs. I still think there will be comment from them too, as well as results. |

(40% PC payer currently trying to branch out into more liquid markets) Yes, ironic indeed Lat. I don't know whether you are a 'full-timer' or not, but guessing this is pretty serious for you at least. Would you have plans for what to do if this all dried up as an income? |
|
By:
It is all pointing towards the black market long term, unless things change. The way betfair has been going over the last 7/8 years doesn't augur well for the future.

Full-timers on here also make sure the DWP are kept busy, if you know what I mean.
