France rightly drifting a bit. Defence looks dodgy

I think i would take Italy to beat belgium and Iceland, though. On their 2nd half showing anyway.

Strange game. Reserve judgment on France imo. Some very good players but perhaps not that good a team.

I wonder if there's more of a difference athletically between black and non-black women as there is with men. Certainly looked that way in that game.

Italy had a lot more energy when they changed two CMs at HT.

I'm on France. And I won't be laying them off at 4.1. Spain still look far too short to me.

3.8? I missed the goals, but that seems very short

market overreaction, correction incoming, they do look very strong though

I think the defences are all very similar of Spain, England, Germany, France.  The attack is what's going to make the difference IMO.

and Germany + France have the best attacks. Spain lack up front imo.

Tonight's game is interesting, Norway can give England a game for sure.

well they aren't really good enough to play through them, they've given it away more than a dozen times deep in their own half...I guess they are commited to trying to play the modern game and fair play to sticking to their principles but fortunately it's only 1-0...Austria not been great but have a couple of players...heat not helping the spectacle either.

unfortunately they are playing no sort of 'game'   this is a terrible advert for the game with an almost empty stadium.

let's hope we can wind some monet on the engerland game after that rubbish  - the competition has been kind to me so far  but Engerland  odds on??  Having seen norway play I think they are better than that.

As an aside, none of the women experts have any idea how to dress  - simply awful  - trousers in this heat!!!  You wouldn't catch me wearing any of their outfits!!!

Yep, decent test for England tonight, a convincing win and they can rightly be kept at the top table but another less than convincing win after what we've seen from France, Spain and Germany would raise serious questions about their chances of winning it..

Norway are a decent side, think this could end in a draw.

A lot of pressure on England with these big crowds

I didn't see all of Norways's first game, but I wasn't all that impressed. Although the comms seemd to be seeing something that I didn't. England should be able to win this, if they don't (as mentioned above) it won't bode that well for their chances. I hope they score a few though and help to push France's price up again.

I saw Spain v Finland. Excellent support for Suomi and very attractive fans!

Spain are a very good footballing side with a high press and suicidal amount of defenders getting forward.

Having said that they are missing their creative player and the goal scorer. This could be problematic for them later in the Tournament. Good goals from corners but seem lightweight up front now and no creative idea's. Very good footballing side to watch though. Very fit as in fit.

The officiating at this tourney has been pathetic, and it's getting worse. Why was that not overturned by VAR? A clear dive.

It was always a penalty. The Norwegian hooked her leg, then pulled her down. I think the BBC transmission could be many seconds late; it was showing 2-0 here well before it was confirmed on tv.

It's a worry for backers of France, Germany, Spain etc, if the officiating is going to as bad as that, especially if they favour England, which seems to be the case so far.
