a poor goal to lose from Spain's point of view. They they just stepped back and let her hoof it, and the keeper was very poorly positioned.

Covered Spains in the 30s - 40s. They have more than enough time to score. So no point to risking it. Let's go England

Spanish keeper moved to her left, (expecting pass out wide I suppose,)
and she's just about unsighted herself too by
doing that. I doubt she expected such a well struck shot either.

Spain are missing Barca's two best Spanish strikers with recent knee injuries. That's why they've little threat up top.

Keeper very poor for the goal. Good strike tho

the keeper was very poor against Germany as well. Not surprised she chucked one in. Although the defenders should've closed her down.

showed a lot there, England ...first real test they've had, go a goal down to a team that can keep it for fun but whatever the HT team talk was certainly made a difference...quite pleased we weren't relying on Phil Neville for that if I'm honest...

Spain were technically better but failed to deliver the goals.
Too many corners and throw ins given away by booting the ball off the pitch by England
Still doing basic things wrong l....defensive headers out ...centrally
England got better when they had to up the tempo at the end of the 90 minutes

The womans top division in this country is high quality and its good to see some great football from the ladies. No diving to have to put up with either which is marvellous and the Amex has been great for atmosphere for the 2 games as well.

I think all the bookies will love this result by England women's national soccer team.I would expect much more interest in the team and betting on Women's international soccer to take off from here.

Spain were fav to beat Germany; England came from behind to beat Spain. I think England can beat Germany if they meet in the final; 1st vs Sweden or Belgium.

This women team is very different to their male counterpart. They've the grit and the will to win that's been instilled by their manager; 2nd is for the wimps (in professional football).

lot of you getting carried away
spain were the better side
check the stats
england were physically stronger
great to see them bombing the box
but in all honesty
basic errors throughout the gane
its like watching non league
