What we're doing now is the right thing. All Abramovich money is essentially Putin's. That's just how it is. I'm not sticking up for Roman. I'm saying sanctioning him is futile and has zero impact on Putin and what he does in Ukraine, sanctioning Russia is effective. Sanctioning Chelsea is ridiculous.

Sanctioning Roman because he has a minority stake in a company which supplied metals which 'may' have been used to make tanks months or years before an invasion is an unbelievable level of reaching and hypocrisy, like the UK is developing a conscience 15 years after the fact, using the most ridiculous reasoning to explain why it's only happening now and window dressing for the international community. Ripping off the Russian people and spending it in the UK for 15 years is fine tho.

There is also no mention of where the money will go. It should only go to the Russian people, not Ukrainians or to the exchequer and the UK should not have any input into where it goes.
