Just as the window closes the nonsense begins again. According to the Mirror we're now in for David Brooks in the summer, along with a whole host of others no doubt!

I've missed the last two games due to not being too well.
However what's noticeable is that despite us playing with an obvious weaker team,
both teams we've beat have still parked the bus, you've have thought they would
have a bit more ambition.
Guess apart from the top six it's the modus operandi playing Spurs whatever the personnel.
Btw -where is mafe? Perhaps he got frustrated at the amount of trolls we've experienced lately

Great  point on Twitter today by former Sky presenters Keys and Gray.
"Who decides that Spurs play on the the Sunday before the CL?"
"The holder of the rights to the PL, who don't own the rights to the CL."

Dortmund most certainly don't play on that Sunday.
In other words...f.ck BT, f.ck Spurs.

Apparently Arsenil were payed in 2004 £100,000,000 for a 15 years contract for naming rights.
We have secured SFA so far for naming rights which is surely a financial  handicap for player purchases
or debt reduction.
That is despite a world wide search for a benefactor.
Is Levy asking too much, or is there a shortage of interested parties?

Perhaps the firm which has bought the naming rights is disinclined to make the fact public so as not to be associated with the biggest farrago in the history of construction.

What exactly is a troll ? Confused
By:

When: 08 Feb 19 20:18

Internet troll
In Internet slang, a troll is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive, or off-topic messages in an online community with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses and normalizing tangential discussion, whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

I do wonder about Winks. Very tidy but seldom do we see a killer pass from him. Nevertheless, a great win against a very stubborn Newcastle

My earlier comment after last game. Souness hits the nail on the head, needs to do more than the 5 yard pass, which is more often than not sideways.

Been out and just watched it,a miracle how we've managed to win the last 4 matches, luck will surely run out sooner than later?
I believe we were linked with Tielemans who's on loan to them and looked good yet we've got Oliver Skipp for our whack!
Got to mention Sissoko though, terrific today in the circumstances.
By:
Aspro
When: 10 Feb 19 22:43
It's 10 days since the window closed and in that time we're going for David Brooks (Bournemouth), James Maddison (Leicester), Declan Rice and now (according to Ribero) Tielemans.

Agree with Sissoko today, had a good game and although Skipp isn't ready (imo) he didn't do a lot wrong either. Winks still doing the sideways pass and it is starting to annoy me a bit now. Even Eriksen was frustrated when the right pass was (dare I say) a forward pass to his feet but he opted again for the short sideways pass. Eriksen was clearly annoyed by that. The problem is, we have nobody else Cry

Scrappy win not helped by the supposedly top ref in the prem.
Agree with Aspro regarding Skipp, again a sideways and backwards passer,
we've got too many of those.

Hugo for a change had a very good game, is that the first pen he saved for us?
The team today was picked with more than one eye on Wednesday,so in the circumstances
a great result.
Like the Chavs playing the best defender in the world out of position, Puel
left Vardy on the bench, sometimes managers give a helping hand.Crazy

I must admit today's win against Leicester was a superb performance and a fully deserved 3 points which keeps you right in the thick of the title race .
I thought the loss of two of your major attacking threats (Kane & Dele) to injury would seriously hamper your progress but I have to confess I was very wrong .
If you put in a performance close to that on Wednesday Dortmund won't know what's hit them . When you're back to full strength in a couple of weeks you'll take a lot of stopping . Good luck Happy

Crikey, a positive and reasonable post from Reynard. Surprised  I'm not too optimistic about the Dortmund games but who knows eh. Cool

Sissoko WTAF?? Knew Pochettino was good, actually turns out he's an alchemist.

I should perhaps inject a much-needed dose of reality to my fellow misty-eyed Spurs fans and let you know that Spurs can not win the League for the following two very simple reasons:

1. We do not have a home ground.
2. We did not sign any players in either of the last two transfer windows.

So that's that, let's all settle down.

3. Man City are better than us and Liverpool are probably as well, although that battle is a bit closer.

Jed, I can't see anywhere in recent posts where any of us has even mentioned winning the league. I think we're more realistic than 'misty-eyed'

We're probably underestimating the pressure Liverpool are under to deliver a League title, not entirely impossible that they could crumble in the face of it. And yes, City looked good yesterday, but that massacre has been coming for Chelsea, they could have got done seven or eight at Wembley in the League and had no real complaints. That's without PEA missing a dozen chances in the first half against Arsenal the Bridge. They're still the same team that lost at home to Palace and at Newcastle quite recently.
