Must be a fringe player like Graham Fyfe.

Whilst awaiting your response Mac I'll ask you this.
Which Rangers player had a brother who was a director of celtic?
Not at the same time, was a gap of 5 years immsmr.

Ryan Kent in line to play against Brondby but Glen Kamara a doubt.
Be interesting to see if SG keeps faith and starts with Morelos.

In answer to your question Aka I would hazard a guess and say Mo Johnson?

In reality I could not name many club directors.

Two final clues to my question.

Both father and son were Scottish internationalists.

Father made almost 300 appearances for his club and the son 118 for his.

I will not say which one played for which club.

thats not the international one obviously i'm talking about, that must have been a long time ago, it's a great clue but must be years ago.

That is a great answer Malay and obviously 100% correct. Lex and Doug Baillie did indeed play for opposite sides of the Old Firm. Well done. Not the one I am talking about like you rightly say. Baillies and mine must be about the only two pairs to have done it, but maybe not. I shall post answer tonight.

Poor performance from Rangers tonight but happy enough in the end to get the draw.
Sparta Prague at Ibrox next on the 25th of this month.
A 2-0 win would guarantee us 2nd place. Should be quite a night.

I fancy Sparta to get a result in that one

However, an agreement is in place with chairman Douglas Park and fellow director John Bennett to provide loan facilities to meet the shortfall and the board insist the club remains on track for financial stability by 2025.

No reason to sell any player as, thanks to the agreement, we have loads of cash at hand.

Poor auld Aka, posting up quotes that just prove I am correct. Blush Your board said that you would be financially secure this season by selling players, this hasn't happened, now they are saying things won't improve till 2025 Shocked. Goal posts keep getting moved. The fact that your board is having to provide yet more loans, over and above all the share issues, just shows what a desperate situation you are in.

Don’t shoot the messenger chaps, but rumours circulating that sevco's losses could top £30M this season , last years £15M losses were announced in November last year, so we might see soon enough. Getting booted out of Europe before Crimbo would add to your financial woe's, so there is a bit of pressure there and then there is Sir Mike Ashley, who is nearing a bumper payout from all the court cases against sevco he's won. Apparently one the reasons there is an alarming escalation in losses this financial year is that the Close Brothers called in all their sevco loans in August this year, meaning any spare cash that was hidden in biscuit tins around Ibrox had to be raided to pay the debts, thus leaving young sevco cash poor. Selling players in the January transfer window seems inevitable, but how much are you going to get for the once prolific and now ex-international Morelos and the off the boil Kent? It’s all a bit worrying for the 9 year old club.

Rangers have posted a loss of over £24 million in their latest annual accounts, with their revenue slumping by 19 per cent Shocked

The Scottish champions were sustained by £21 million of loans from shareholders and investors through the period to June 30, 2021. Shocked

Another £8.5 million in loans has been received since then and Rangers have confirmed they require further loans of £7.5 million by the end of this season to meet their financial obligations. Shocked

Running a club in this manner after renegading on £140+ Million worth of debt and leaving 276 victims life's in ruins, is nothing short of WICKED!! Time the SPL got with the program and dished out some punishment, this can't, and should not be allowed to continue, why should other teams, who are humbly living within their means, be beaten and lose points to a club behaving in such an amoral way. No wonder Stevie G wants away form this vile club and it's bigoted supporters.Angry

Beat Sparta by 2 and we're through unless Brondby win both there remaining games and we lose our final game.
As they are at home to Lyon and then away to Sparta I doubt that even if Lyon ease up.
Looking for odds us to qualify but can't find them. Anybody know the odds?

Once again we had to come back from a goal behind but came back in style.
A good team performance with Ryan Kents world class strike the cherry on the top.
4 points clear at the top.

Not back in league business until Sunday the 28th with an away game at Livingston.
Before then we have Hibs at home on Sunday the 21st in the league cup and Sparta Prague, again at Ibrox, on Thursday the 25th in the Europa League.
A busy 8 days against decent opposition but 3 victories will be the target.
