Being reported that Morelos has agreed terms with Porto after they and Rangers agreed on the transfer fee.
Reputed to be close to a fee of £20m which is not a bad return on the £1m we paid Finnish club HJK for his signature.
He has done himself proud in Scotland despite the continual abuse in the media and being singled out by the referees.
I think the Scottish word Gallus sums him up well. I wish him well in the future.
Kemar Roofe will be an adequate replacement up front with Itten expected to be involved more.

I was shocked at the valuation as well Guiseppe.
Like you I would have thought that closer to £30m would have been more realistic but there you go.

Well he does send a fair percentage of his wages home to help with the poor in his native village so you may, unusual as that is, be right.

A bit of severely sickening Sevco news has come to light. It would seem the club that saw fans flagrantly flaunt covid rules in their 10's of thousands, after seeing sevco reward their own players for doing the same thing with game time instead of sanctions, the same club that blamed the Scottish Government for their behaviour and the same club that has caused the Government so much grief and time in dealing with their vile conduct, are the same club that greedily took the biggest slice of the pie when the Government were handing out interest free loans for covid issues, you could not make this evil up. Angry

CLUB AGREED CREDIT FACILITY AMOUNT
1) RANGERS £3.2M
2) ABERDEEN £3.119M
3) MOTHERWELL £2.959M
4) HIBERNIAN £2.882M
5) DUNDEE UNITED £2.818M
6) ST JOHNSTONE £2.6M
7) KILMARNOCK £1.828M
8) LIVINGSTON £1.783M
9) ST MIRREN £1.764M
10) ROSS COUNTY £1,158M
11) HAMILTON ACCIES £1.151M
12) CELTIC NIL

For the smaller clubs who need the gate money it is understandable, but for a club that has large revenues coming in, it is not forgivable, the money could of gone to the needy, vulnerable and infirm in Scots society instead Sad

Rangers v Real Madrid
Friendly at Ibrox on Sunday the 25th of July at 6.00pm.

No doubt thanks to SGs contacts. Not sure if any fans will be allowed in but the game will be live on Rangers TV.
This will be our final pre-season match and comes after Partick away (we won 1-0 thanks to an Itten strike), Arsenel (home), Blackpool (away) and Brighton & Hove Albion (Home). I wonder if Shane Duffy will turn up.

First game of the new season is at Ibrox v Livingston on Saturday the 31st of this month with a 1.30pm kick-off.
Not to be missed as our 55th league flag will be unfurled hopefully in front of a reasonable crowd.

LaughLaugh

A 1-0 win against a p1ss poor Partick, yet no mention of today's defeat to English 2nd division fodder Tranmere.

I forgot about the Tranmere game but like the Thistle game SG used it to give his new buys and some fringe players game time.
Will watch it later after the replay vids appear on Rangers TV.
Must be a tough time for you joeybhoy. What with the death of Terry Munro and England getting to the finals of the Euros you must be depressed.
By:

BTW the B&HA game is on the day before the Real Madrid game so will mainly comprise of fringe players.
@BADJOE if you're still about and can tear your eyes away from Rangers TV I have a quiz for you.

Saw the highlights of the Tranmere game.
Looked a better game than the Thistle match.
Defoe had a couple cleared off the line and we hit the post on a couple of occasions.
A tad rusty in the finishing stakes but thats what these game sre for, to help the players sharpen up before we go looking for title number 56 which hopefully will come with a few cups.

Rangers have declared an interest in Signing the much sought after 23 yo centre back Danilho Doekhi of Vitesse Arnhem.
Despite interest from all over Europe the player has said that the Rangers offer is definitely one he would give great consideration to.
I'm sure wee sadjoeybhoy will be along shortly to fill in all the details. Grin

Joey Veerman on Rangers radar according to the daily rebel.
£8.5m transfer fee quoted but lots of other clubs interested.
Hopefully wee sad joeybhoy or his pal Guiseppe will come along to give us an update.

Good to see Fashion Sakala finally make an appearance at the training centre.

Debtco have offered £3.8 M for the chump, not sure where you are getting the money for this? You haven't sold anyone. Oh wait a minute, you took £3.2 M from the mouths of the Scottish needy didn't you ?, you'll probably just use that. Sub-human scum Angry

Good luck akabula, badjoe along with honcho and sofeekerry are the biggest knobs ever to post on the forum, go easy on the the old fella that is Guiseppeeee though he's just a little bit sad and demented and possibly suffering from something that we shouldn't take the mickey out of.

Hope Steve G conjures up another good season for you.

Cheers Tiger. Me and Guiseppe are okay, that was just a wee wind-up which he never fell for.
I thought we might lose SG this year but he seems committed to staying a tad longer.
Great manager who appears to get the best out of a player.

Steve G has to be commended for going into management imo, some modern day footballers are so rich that they don't really need to work any longer, he seems a very genuine type to me, hope he does really well. Liverpool will no doubt be his long term aim though.
