Another clean sheet with 6 games under the belt including 4 friendlies. Sundays friendly with Blackburn will be our sternest test so far. Looks like both Candeias and Barisic will be leaving this week. SG doesn't rate Barisic but not sure what the issues with Candeias are. Maybe wanting more money. Seems most likely answer. |

@Outpost Candeias had issues over something in the latter stages of last season.
Not sure what it was but he refused to celebrate a goal and pushed the other players away. In his final season so would have expected something being done before now as regards an extension. |

I very much doubt Morelos would be allowed to go for that sum.
Fantastic player and offers a lot more than just his goals. Tavernier contributed loads to the team in attack and has improved immensely when defending so would be looking for that for him. |

1-1 v Blackburn. Decent performance albeit a bit wasteful in front of goal.

Candeias joined Turkish side Genclerbirligi today on a 2 year contract.
