The good news is we are closer to Emery going.

We need a Leicester Master Class first! But Commercial Considerations will come to pass. Dick is not going anywhere until the end of the season! So be prepared for Thursday Night Football on 5! I used to say that about Tottingham!

Why were we playing this afternoon instead of tomorrow??

I think he's gone if we lose at LC. International break is a terrible time for under pressure managers. Why on earth wait- he has shown he is not up to the task- he has lost the fans and he has clearly now lost the players.  He has to go, we cannot just throw away this open goal of a season to get back into the CL which we will do if he stays.

Do not loom at what the right thing to do is. Imagine you were a Director. Sacking him would show you picked the wrong man, After he goes your position is questioned. He is not going anytime soon although he should of course!

Gone if a defeat to  LC imo

Didn't see any of he game but saw what people were saying online. Saw the stats and a passmap as well. 62% possession and 15 shots to 7, 4 on target to 1 (to them). All of our passes seemed to be in our own half or out wide with absolutely nothing central in the final third. Looks like a training match where trying to score was not the objective.

The problem with firing him is there'll be a pay off and we'll have to pay someone else a manager's salary and the wooden planks will have to sign off on that.

Leicester are still 11/10 to win which is massive imo. AUQHW is about 9/1. The handicap markets are what I want a look at as well but they are not fully liquid yet. They could score 5 or 6 imo.

The Leicester game is now pivotal. If leicester turn up and play like they have been doing all season we will get walloped as it is hard to see where our improvement is coming from ????

Difficult days after that for Emery. I think he is gone. Top 4 not even on our radar as we stand.

Watching us in recent weeks it is as if the players are not fully in tune with what the manager wants from them. Tactically it is a mess. Quality is never sustained for any period of the match ( if any shown at all ) and many of the players are not really at it

Pepe's free kick for Mustafi's goal was the only pass Arsenal played into the box in 90 mins. Astonishing

Looks like The Manure Manager knows his job is on the line and has put out a strong side! Strange that Dick Emery thinks he can afford the luxury of resting players.
By:

When: 08 Nov 19 09:02
Its not about whether we beat Leicester or not, or if we put out our strongest side or not to save Emerys job.

We need to see an improvement in the way we play, perform with authority and win games. At the moment we are a poor side and i can't see how Emery is suddenly gonna change things. He's had long enough to show us how he intends to do things, and has fallen way short imo.Cry

Improve?

I would imagine many Arsenal fans want Leicester to give us a good shoeing tomorrow! I am being serious too although I am tempted if I can get 3-1 on Arsenal because that would be typical of them!

Personally I think there is room for only one: Auba or Lacca. I would be happier if Emery showed some b0ll0x and left one out and put Martinelli on the left- works hard has goals in him and is far more suited to the role than Auba.

Best league performance of the season......a 2-0 drubbing at LC ! Ffs. Just shows where we're at. Lacca and Auba at the 2nd half kick off; anyone else see there body language. Arms being thrown up, shoulders shrugging just after what was surely a rousing half time talk from our manager- it looked like were complaining that they were in agreement that what was said was nonsense. Commentator (The great Alan Smith) saying the rumours are he will get through to the end of the season- surely they cannot just throw away the next six months onn this manager- it's over- supporters are done with him- the players are very clearly done with him. Must go, will go in next 2/3 days imo.

14 points off the top and Liverpool have a game in hand, but only 9 points off the relegation zone, and the most expensive tickets in the prem,
and possibly Europe, get as manky managers in as you like, But as long as that cn ut Silent Stan is there, not much will change

For me...top 4 is over and I don’t want to be playing in that stupid Thursday comp next season.

So more than happy if we take our time with a new manager...let’s have a proper look at what’s out there and not rush into anything.

Freddy can be the interim until we find someone...

Edu and Raul best not f uck this up...

What a day...

Stevie G linked again

Board leaking info to Ornestien that they’re stick with Unai....for THIS SEASON LOL

Xhaka looking for homes in Milan - give us a shout if you need help mate!!

Complaints from the players of playing too defensive and not understanding Unai

Arsenal players furious with Aboomerang getting the captaincy because of his friendship with Troopz from AFTV (apparently this is 100% real and affecting his game)

It seems...just when you think it couldn’t get any more silly it does..

I have some sympathy for Xhaka

Not his fault he is not good enough. Not his fault he was picked ahead of the others who are all better than him. His family should not have been targeted and he should not have been boo’d. Ironic cheers was a good enough message to send when he got substituted.

The problem lies with the manager and those responsible for him

Wouldn't this be a massive kick in the teeth if this happens and they transform City's dodgy defending !

They've basically just got a ruling that FFP is dead and can be easily circumvented. A bad day for football. Prepare for another big spree in January.

Surprised they got rid of him, but clearly things far from harmonious behind the scenes with Levy and investment. A good manager who has been hard done by - getting such a small club to a Champions League Final quite some achievement.

Harsh but understandable sacking. Don't think he was going to turn it around and they were getting worse. Mourinho looks like getting it. Bayern are looking, Barca and PSG may be looking in the Summer too.

Ramsey showed his class agin last night for Wales. Really good player.

Ox hardly standing still in the Liverpool / England set ups.

We are run in a very poor manner.

Those 2 straight back into our midfield without any hesitation

Hard not to imagine that Poch’s departure will increase pressure on Emery if results/performances don’t improve. Our near neighbours will look decisive whilst we’ll appear to carry on dithering.
