All this mumbo-jumbo about Jose well versed in this, direct rival the other....on a purely mathematical level, United can not afford to lose this game. I don't think it's even all that hard to imagine Mourinho's mindset about this game, and he's already told you today that he thought the desperate 0-0 at Anfield was a good game.

If United get beat Sunday, they have a very tricky mountain to climb, particularly if results elsewhere have gone as we expect them to go.

This is the sort of game, were it at the other end of the table and Mourinho were Allardyce, it ends 0-0 and Allardyce tells the fans after the game 'Respect the point.'

Add Mane's absence, Coutinho feeling his way back in, doubts about Henderson and Matip, both teams take a point right now.

You'd like to think that sometimes it really is as easy as it looks.

I genuinely love to see OP trying to pretend he's a die hard Man Utd fan when he's hardly been to Manchester in his life.

There is no way Utd play for a point. Like no way. A point is useless for Man Utd. There's one thing being away and being happy for a point, there's another thing being at home, especially right now where everyone is logging up a lot of wins.

'Jose Mourinho claims he is a calmer manager than Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, despite having been sent to the stands twice for disciplinary reasons this season.'
Do actual FA Fines of thousands of £'s and being banished to the stands every 3 months actually register in this Special Mugs deluded, self-centered, inflated egomaniacs world.? Is he the full shilling, no really is he ?

Even Fergie wouldn't come up with that one. You didn't offer an opinion on Joses mental stability I see.

Think Utd are definitely too short and have laid them. Our demise and Utd's resurgence are being over stated imo. Klopp's record against the eats of the top teams isn't to be sniffed at either.

Much will hinge on team news, all the same.

Despite everything this is still the biggest game every season. Liverpool haven't scored in their last two games but I'd love to see the stylish and likeable Klopp get a result today.

N88. I'd potentially agree if he had played for them recently, but it's been over a year and him saying he doesn't want to play for them any more has been well documented.

I was right on this. Liverpool won't risk playing him (risking a point deduction) until they get clarity.

Can't see anything other than a united win today, Liverpool defence weakened by absence of Matip and Clyne in defence

As a liverpool fan have to say really don't fancy us today with that line up, if Utd don't make it pay I'd be very surprised.

Whatever happens in this game, it can't be any worse than the 1st game between these sides, as there wasn't a shot in anger for 70 minutes, a right old boring game it was.
