Salmond has **** the vote and all those who "claim" in Scotland have already voted yes due to the fact that they have put a cross on the dole form.. It will be a landslide..... |

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/scotland/10712784/Alex-Salmond-refuses-to-disclose-luxury-hotel-costs-over-security-fears.html half a million quid on a swaree ,then tries to cover it up . dont understand why he even needed to even be there tbh ,other than improve his golf swing at the taxpayers expense . just another free loader |

think that article about JM is dated 2012
Alex Salmond called it "frippery" people questioning his 500k swaree at the golf . Alex Salmond is challenged to provide details of 'mystery' Ryder Cup spending after a Telegraph investigation discloses new details of why a trip to Chicago cost £468,580. Alex Salmond is under pressure to account for a “mystery” £54,000 spent during his delegation’s visit to the Ryder Cup in Chicago after a Telegraph investigation into how it racked up a bill of nearly half a million pounds. This newspaper can disclose details of how more than £414,000 of taxpayers’ money was spent on the week-long trip to the golf tournament in the US, including £80,000 on food and drink. But the Scottish Government has so far refused to disclose how the remainder of the £468,580 total was spent, including the cost of Mr and Mrs Salmond’s stay in a five-star hotel away from the rest of the ‘Team Scotland’ delegation. We tabled two identical Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for a breakdown of costs to VisitScotland, the publicly-funded tourism quango that organised the trip, and to the SNP administration at Holyrood. Although VisitScotland provided the figures a month ago, Scottish ministers have refused to follow suit despite confirming that they hold information about the costs they directly incurred. The figures released so far show the delegation spent £5,695 on a dinner with guests at a “gourmet” steak restaurant, nearly £60,000 on food and “beverage” at two receptions and nearly £9,000 for another dinner at a racecourse. They also spent nearly £1,000 hiring a pianist for a dinner, £1,755 on ties and more than £1,100 flying over to the US two chefs from Gleneagles. One member of staff spent £172 using their work credit card on Ryder Cup merchandise. Although the breakdown shows more than £80,000 was spent on accommodation, it refers only to a hotel near the tournament venue used by officials and not the five-star Peninsula Hotel where it is understood Mr and Mrs Salmond stayed. The latter is popular with celebrities such as Jay – Z, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston but is much further away from the Medinah Country Club, where the Ryder Cup was staged. But opposition parties last night urged Mr Salmond to come clean about his spending during his six-night stay in Illinois last September. We disclosed earlier this year how Mr Salmond charged the taxpayer more than £250 for a pair of tartan trews before waging an extraordinary seven-month campaign to keep secret his failure to refund the public purse. Paul Martin MSP, Scottish Labour’s business manager, said: “We need to know how Alex Salmond spent our money. This isn't his money – it is taxpayers' money which could have been spent on hospitals and schools. “Instead Alex Salmond spent half a million quid on a golf trip but won't give us details. This is public cash and there should be no mystery about how it was spent.” |

Was up the town first thing this morning. Got accosted by one of a group who were campaigning for the yes vote.
After telling him I was a definite NO he asked why. I just smiled and went to move on but he stood in front of me and quite aggressively stated "I asked you why" I told him it was none of his f*ck*ng business. It got really quite heated but, to be fair, some of his mates pulled him away and apologised. My point is that whatever the outcome we will all have to live with it and should respect each others right to vote YES or NO. |

By:
And it was pure joy during Tony Blair's time in office for you I presume highlander.
By:
The way I see it we have two choices.
Independence = Freedom, Self-Rule, Self-Respect, Prosperity and Happiness. Staying with England = having a miserable time being ground into the dirt by upper class English who went to Eton that have not done a days work in their entire lives. |
By:
alex salmond is a total bellend

I thought highlander was being ironic when he said its worth ONE MILLION to every SCOT ....ffs
![]() ![]() ![]() please tell me you are joking highlander ![]() |
By:
The vote is about Scottish Independence. It's not about Alex Salmond. If Scotland wins Independence then we will have a General Election to see who runs the country.
By:
If you are Scottish and vote NO to Independence you are a coward and a traitor.

thats better Highlander ....did not take long to show your true colours did it .
