Desperate stuff from Cameron, Clegg & Miliband. Thankfully a YES vote will be the end for Cameron the wet lettuce. Bring on a proper Prime Minister

These polls are relatively useless but if they're showing a 50/50 split you can bank in it the vote will be no as people pull out. People like the status quo and fear stops keeps them being average. Sad

If I was Scottish, I would vote Yes.

Of course there is an inherent risk, but sometimes its worth it. Good luck to them I say.

Thinly veiled - 'pushkin99 has reported high_lander and he is now banned' Sad

Just ignore the posts that you don't like instead of reporting somebody. Crazy

The forum is dead and we don't want anyone banned - even if they post nonsense Cry

I think u may find Westender, that it is metaphor and not high_lander who has been banned Cool and before you ask, metaphor and high_lander are both accounts of the same forumite on here LaughLaughLaugh

if high_lander/metaphor could refrain from making their bigoted racists posts there would not be a problem and they would not be banned......................GrinGrinGrin

but somehow I do not see that happening Happy

No I meant a proper Prime Minister, someone who will stick up for England and who knows how to get things done and who know the difference between right and wrong.

I would advise anyone wanting to lump on YES to do it before the orange order march through Edinburgh on Saturday totally kills the price.
Thank me later.

Wouldn't want to own a house in Aberdeen or Edinburgh (vastly inflated) if there is a yes vote..Cry

Just an observation as those who want you to vote yes must live in Council Houses as they have no ambition in life other than return Scotland to the Dark Ages...

Surely the Highlander has not been banned...

Even the stupid should have a voice and whoever complained should be taken off here for gross negligence.

There are so few people posting now I may have to get a twitter account.

I hope Scotland gets independence.

It gives the rest of us somewhere decent to emigrate to if the Tories get in again.

After Scotland goes it will only be a matter of time til we have a Northern Party and Northern England pushes for Independence.

The Tories?! They've done a pretty good job cleaning up the mess Labour made.

Where in the 'north' do you mean?
By:

This shows perfectly how the Tories have purposely fecked over the Labour-controlled areas predominalty in the North.

http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/interactive/2012/nov/14/local-authority-cuts-map

If you live in somewhere like Newcastle or Liverpool for example, that has had their council budget slashed by 70%, you might not agree that the Tories have done a good job. Where council departments have had to slash jobs, where libraries are at thing of the past, where swimming pools are next.

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2012/nov/14/council-cuts-targeted-deprived-areas

If you live somewhere nice and posh and Southern, where councils have not had their budgests cut at all, you probably won't notice any of this. The irony is you probably don't need or use your library or swimming pool.

Give me Northern independence from those (unts in London anyday.

Good luck Scotland. Go for it! Personally I'm loving watching the smug rich ****s in Westminster squirming Laugh

That's a pretty small part of the whole issue though isn't? 50 odd quid pp difference on council budgets is only a very, very small part of the overall picture.

I think your post shows what a lot of people think up here though, and a lot of it comes down to them being 'smug rich southern b*stards' as opposed to Labour having a few regional accents.

I'd be more likely to move to Scotland if Labour get back in to f*ck the whole show up again. It surprises me that people are wiling to forgive them so quickly. But anyway..., that's enough politics for the football forum Plain

marychain1 you sound a bitter cu nt posh and southern see how fu cking posh it is in Hastings, Portsmouth,Peckham etc etc don't see the Trafford centre or the Arndale centre down here. Yeah you better move to Scotland because if they do go the Tories hand will only be strengthened mind you I think you'll find the Scots even more bitter than you.

Yep. If Scotland go, Tory rule ad finitum in England.

Will be very interesting to see how it pans out... Labour nick the next election, then Scottish independence gives them no mandate. I don't think anyone considered yes seriously enough to organize the whole thing properly.
