Yes just like the European Cup was scrapped. They didn't want any more diddy teams winning it

Aka the European cup hasnt been scrapped just re named and weer playing in it tomorrow.There are a lot of cups renamed like the skol cup,milk cup etc but there is still value in winning them so they are still played for.The cup winners cup was just a mickey mouse second rate tournament that all the smaller teams used to play for in fact even Aberdeen won it!
