I don't agree. He was forced into the sale and I prefer to remember him for all the good he did previous to that. As I said I didn't hear to many moans when all the class players were coming to Ibrox. For him - Once a Ranger Always a Ranger.

Bear in mind that when CW bought Rangers he had a 'letter of faith' from a firm of reputable lawyers stating he had the funds. One of the lawyers of the firm is currently being sued.

the bank forced DM to sell the club under threat of putting them out of business for the £18m owed to them if he didn't sell to whyte.

DM done really well for rangers and regularly put his money where his mouth was and none of the subsequent problems were down to him.

the club were forced into administration by a concerted effort from anti rangers bigots in the press, on TV and online, who orchestrated the whole thing because they saw it as the only way that celtic could win the league and get into the champions league.

or "integrity" as they liked to call it.

They knew they would never catch us and tried to put us to the death. They tried to strip us of titles when that failed.
There are no lows that they wouldn't stoop to. Remember their lies over the trip to Japan forcing Rangers to play 10 games in 3 weeks.
They quoted sporting integrity. Integrity that's a laugh, they would struggle to spell it.

RANGERS Love YESTERDAY, RANGERSLove TODAY AND RANGERS Love FOREVER

Davie Cooper was a joy to watch. Bundles of memories including his 'keepie-up' goal against the hoops, his free-kick against the sheepies and his constant tormenting of the Ilves Tampere defence at Ibrox. I was at all 3 games.

I love Band on the Run but only because I left my wallet at home one Saturday and found myself with only £5. Was change in my car for parking and I was in a small coastal town with 3 bookies to slip count (my job).
Band on the run was a horse running that day and won at 8/1 with my fiver on it Laugh

I got to know a few Rangers players over the years. Jim Baxter the most. Met him firstly through my work and on other occasions at the dogs. He was a great story teller but best avoided when drunk and losing. Laugh
He is without doubt the best player I ever saw. He had skill in abundance but hated training and did as little as possible which eventually caught up with him and cut his career short.
