Peter64 nose - despite all those years with bacon chops only being rude about managers/teams that posed a threat to them and ignoring those that aren't (or worse - praise them and maybe offer them a job) TBB seems blissfully unaware of the way these things work. JM etc having read the same 'Psychology for 8yo' book have their say and blah blah blah.
The 10 point idea is fantastic TBB - have you seen the league table recently - lets implement it this season eh? It's not as if he has the wherewithal to try and turn this round to a fishing thread - I think I'll settle down and watch this thread over the next little while - TBB won't let us down........ |

the league is worked out in a simple way.
Every team plays 38 games and plays every other team home and away. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw. The rest is irrelevant. |

Why didn't Mourinho make this claim at the start of the season then ? Could it be that he, like you, & a lot of other people (including most Liverpool fans tbf), never expected in a million years that we'd be just four points off the top come March. Annoying isn't it ? |

It is when City & Chelsea have enough quality players to be able to field 2 good sides. If either of them fail to win the league, it'll simply be down to the fact that the team, & the manager, haven't produced the goods over the full season. The best team always wins the league. That's how it is pal, & that's how it's always been. No using trying to say otherwise now that Liverpool are up there. |

I see, so whenever Whisky Nose picked an understrength team for carling cups and fa cups, anything they won in those years we need to write off. At least we didn't fook the FA Cup by pi$$ing off to far flung places to play in The Weird Club Cup, and coincidently getting favourable treatment from referees since.
