stu, it depends on the prices of 12 losers, as to whether
its awful or not, definitely not even money chances he is picking,that really would be awful. I see his bet today is about someone getting or not getting eliminated from a big brother event!! if that is not nonsense I don't know what is. |

I didn't know there was a Big Brother thing going on these days, did you? Actually did, but only because I play those markets myself quite a bit - in fact they could be the biggest markets for me over my history, however that wouldn't be case for most so I get the point. Still have to say, if they are just throwaway, should he really be calling them 'bet of the day'? |

I have said that McGovern or anyone else, would find it
near impossible to show a profit, tipping within the constraints they work within, I stand by that. I also think his picks are just throw away lines in with no explanation as to how he arrives at it, probably because he doesn't do any research!! What amazes me is that some people seem to think he should win at it, God only knows why. Regards the other thread you refer to, have another look. |

I think it would near impossible for ANYONE, not jut him, to show a profit. Whether he tries very hard or not, I have no idea but any one who thinks because he works for a newspaper, writing a daily column, means he should make it pay, is not in touch with reality. That is what I am saying, and recording his picks is childish. |
