A few potential bets of this type, among others Verla away at Olympiakos at 29 struck me as too easy and one for much further down the road, the amount of money and mugtiples Atletico have cost me over the years means I still can't bring myself to have faith in them, even though they seem to be crazy good this year. Vigo are also one of my bogey teams, so not going near that one. Also considered laying Ayr against Sevco, but I don't want any reason at all to be pleased by the tax dodging **** inevitably winning at a canter.

Porto don't lose to mug teams, especially newly promoted mug teams, so I'm happy to stick the money down on this one.

One of those bets that I won't be too concerned if it loses, because it'll be ridiculously amusing. Well aware there is currently a "free money" fred on this game, that doesn't bother me too much. I also realise San Marino beat Wales last month, but I reckon me and my mates could beat Wales.

Front of the queue for a Bosnia win tomorrow v Liechtenstein at 1.05, £10 of it has already been matched and I imagine the rest will follow shortly.

Didn't have a bet Monday due to busy-ness. Had planned on having a punt on one of the late Argie games for Monday but they both stayed far too close (the Yank reserves and the Canadian game were never an option!) Plan B was the NFL but tiredness caught up with me and missed most of the game, which ended up being another close one - didn't fancy taking 1.11 on SD making a 51 yard kick for this challenge.

Unsure whether to have two bets on Tuesday to make up for it, again may be too busy to find a few mins to put one on. Might just leave it.

Anyway:

Whether this is a delayed Monday bet or a Tuesday bet mostly depends on what time I get in front of the laptop tomorrow evening.

2-1 FT, albeit another slightly twitchy one.

Don't have to be up especially early tomorrow so might see how the CONCACAF qualifiers play out to get me fully caught up with the whole Bet A Day thing after missing Monday's, not checked tomorrow's coupon but can't imagine there would be much on in international week and since I'm working in the evening I'd probably miss it anyway.

Just realised I could have got more profit by simply laying Jamaica here - bit late now though, no liquidity to back out and I don't really want to double my liability here just in case it does somehow go tits up. Don't mind potentially losing £83.81, but losing £167.62 on what is essentially the same bet would piss me off a bit.

And money isn't everything I suppose.

In the second quarter, so a bit early than I usually like betting on the NFL. Seattle currently 14-0 up and dominating. However there's always a danger of a big momentum shift in this sport.

Since the bet was placed there's signs of a small momentum shift and Seattle have gone out to 1.10, but Seattle should be good enough to win this.

47. Man City to beat West Ham £95.17 at 1.05


54' in and 2-0. I realise Citeh have been fairly ropey away, but surely they won't throw away a two goal lead.

As West Ham score. This could be interesting.

48. Maccabi Tel Aviv to beat Ironi Ramat HaSharon £99.25 at 1.07

Top v bottom in the Israeli Premier League. Currently 1-0 Maccabi in the 57th minute, and they've dominated the entire match thus far, one of those where Ironi could play all night and not score. Let's hope that's the case.
