Moyes is like a rabbit caught in headlights. Can't think of a manager who has ever been more out of his depth. Can't sign any players because no-one wants to play for him. All his current players aren't happy with him and want out. A complete failure to resolve the Wayne Rooney situation (either sign him to a new contract or sell him, don't do neither). Sells one of the best academy products for peanuts. Sacks some of the best coaches in the world and brings in unproven coaches. Every day Moyes is at the club the more damage is done.

The way they are going about the transfer market is remarkably similar to how it used to be at Everton. Now under Martinez we have brought in three players already, I'm not saying it was down to mouse and I wish him all the luck in the world but its nice to get faces in early

I would be more worried about what is happening at his former club...

Everton seem to be signing players that are used to being losers and will take them down...

Everton have signed 4 players who have all won more trophies than most of their existing squad

Jose is already winding him up over Rooney and it will be no good for him to ask advice from Fergie , Mourinho strung Fergie along as well .   Moyes already looking like a rabbit in the headlights .

unbelievable post

He has been there 12 days, his team haven't kicked a ball in anger, he was given a hospital pass of a job by Fergie yet you consider him to be out of his depth

As for you, you should know better

At Everton Moyes had to sell to buy that's if he was lucky. Martinez has come into Everton on the back of every club having an extra £25m to spend hence Swansea, Soton, Norwich all spending over £20m each so far - we have spent less than £10m

Moyes likes to do his homework on players - he wont spend £25m on Anderson for the sake of it

Give the man a chance

'kickabout' my ass. Pro footballers never go out with that attitude. It's a fallacy. A loss is a competitive loss. They tried to win the game but got beat. It happens.

Have you heard his words about Rooney's future today? Absolute madness, this guy doesn't have a clue. So we're keeping a guy who has 2 years left on his contract, with no plans to offer him a new one, 90% of the fans want him out, we could get 25-30m for him easily now, he's apparently needed in case Van Persie gets injured (so he's second choice basically), and he's got to earn a new contract through performances on the pitch Laugh.

Let's face it, he has 8 seasons to win nothing to be deemed as bad as Wenger has been for the best part of a decade.

christ give the guy a chance to play even 5 competitive games FFS

it is a difficult job to follow fergie and he won nothing for years

i'm not sure they will challenge this year but even so he needs time to bed in. he is not required to hit the ground running imo

Moyes might surpass Fergie, this often happens with an alleged great (John Major was perhaps Britains greatest PM eg )
