Another 0.0 today.
![]() 6 points from 5 games. ![]() Only 2 goals scored. ![]() Only 1 against. ![]() Attacking midfielder needed, as well as the injured Lawless. Is this Benson we have signed any good? Keep the faith. Up the Hatters. |

whats the story this year with luton again , have loaded up big time on them and already well off the pace , its a disgrace that lutons supporters put up with this crap, that cullen lad still brought is total waste of space offwhat i can see, also still playing gray a man thats injured that needs hernia op absolutely clueless , over 7tousand in kenilworth to watch such dross, hopelly bensoon will do something but for god sake that still lad needs to sort things out quick or it will be over before it starts. what annoyed me today was still laughing and joking in post match press conference, cop on son and sort it out and **** the joking , we have had enough of this crap, go and get few proper strikers and sort it out
By:
on the bright side they did pick up points versus two teams expected to be veering 4 the top
By:
Agree Mick,
I thought Cullen was hopeless at Southport. Shaw out for hernia op now. Still seems to be playing Howells here, there and everywhere. The only positive is the defence is strong. Midfield needs Lawless back to boost the attack. |
By:
Have you still got that fat yob playing centre half for you? I've seen oil tankers turn quicker.
By:
and yet they looked so good v arsenal"s 9th x1

By:
barstool we need good result againsk kidiminster next , these fuking draws are no good , please benson does something, that cullen needs to be shipped out , no good
By:
Paul Benson is an excellent striker, will score goals at this level. Good target man and decent finisher. Good signing.
By:
Same thing every year.
Luton are the "Galacticos" of the Conference, "we should be up there with the best again", "sleeping giant" etc etc ad nauseum and every year you under achieve. You're pants, end of. |

Report from Mondays game as promised...very late....sorry!
Tyler = brilliant. McNulty, Lacey and Smith (in middle of midfield where he should ALWAYS be playing instead of Taiwo)all very good. Henry ok, Howells very good - Christ knows why Still doesn't start him, he is so much better than Griffiths or Martin. Whalley was a wally. Cullen is playing the wrong sport. Gray was ok but displayed a very negative attitude towards his teammates. Gutteridge was quiet today for some reason. Whalley and Martin were pretty poor on delivery of crosses, corners, free kicks today. Sadly, they seemed to cross the ball better later in the game, when Shaw had already gone off, leaving just Gray to try to meet them. Badly miss Lawless. Benson has to get a game next week if anywhere near fit given that Shaw and Wall are not. Let's go with:- Tyler Henry McNulty Lacey Howells Robinson Smith Gutteridge O'Donnell Benson Gray Subs: Whalley Martin Griffiths Parry + goalie Could live with Griffiths leftback, Howells left midfield and O'Donnell sub as alternative line up. Lawless needs another week or two and Charles is out for another 4 weeks roughly. Still think we will win the league though, just maybe not by quite as many points as I anticipated. ![]() |

nice thread
cant have luton im afarid , bit like liverpool tend to be overpriced due to history and always worth looking at for alay. i like betting on the conf as you tend to get some nice prices on teams that have agood chance of winning. i have backed Barnet to win in the outrights at around 9/1 and pleased with the results so far early days yet bur cambridge may be the surprise packet. wrexham also off to apoor start |
By:
chester may yet surprise afew despite their poor start . had a few quid on them at 25s
By:
Barnet have done well, not many relegated teams find their feet so soon. Dicky Dosh (Richard Money)was a poor Luton manager and I cant see Cambridge doing much better under him. Wrexham are going backwords.
Still time to invest in Luton. TOTLAHAL (soon) |
By:
we are doing fine dragon, the only problem is we haven"t played any "top" teams yet but you only beat want yer given, C"MON THE BEES"!
By:
My team, Kidderminster beat Chester but they were by no means a poor team, despite their start. I backed them to beat Wrexham. We were dire against Luton - probably the worst, to a man, we have played this calendar year. I see this as being a very close league this year with no stand out teams.

One up front nearly all night, at home too. Grey has gone, doesn't look fit and should be dropped and told to lose 10lbs.
The young striker who came on at the end (Wall) looked sharp and needs a chance. Howells put in all in as usual. Gutteridge wasted a lot of balls. Defence solid, Tyler nothing to save. Two more points dropped to an average side. Truth is we did not deserve anymore. ![]() |
By:
played some lovely touch football yet total clueless up front-im surprised!
By:
too many wasteful balls barstool , no one in midfield to put foot on ball and do a proper pass pathetic really , david pleat was saying that gutteridge has no technique to strike a football that he is reaching for the ball instead of striking threw it , for goid sake mr still can you get a footballer that can hit the ball properly

By:
Halifax could be the ones to watch out for, but a long old season left yet, and we always see somebody coming with a charge in this league and usually getting right in the thick of things from Feb onwards. Luton just need a tweek here n their and they will be right their.
By:
and they will have a run of winnable games now
By:
disappointing resuklt for barnet, kiddy look to be getting their act together, cambridge and nuneaton win again. southport continue to yo yo and FG continue to be unpredictable
interesting season awaits |

Thank you to the many Luton Town fans who have donated to the justgiving page for Kettering Town FC.Hoping to keep a 141 year old club alive.
Im sure there are more worthy causes but seem to be a lot of decent people out there. |

lets hope they survive roy

One of my workmates is 'Kettrin' born and bred and follows them all over the country - so sad that football at our level has to suffer so badly for the sake of Sky and the Premiership.
As to Luton Saturday.....ok we hadn't scored but everything was going along fine until we lost Lacey at halftime. Having to move Parry back into defence enabled Grimsby to get more ball in the midfield - something that Parry and Smith had stopped happening in the first half. McNulty was a star yet again. Parry was very good, Howells worked his socks off but delivered a poor finaal ball. Whalley again provided nothing when he came on. Why doesn't Still play Gray on the shoulder of Benson inside of making him stay wide? I see Gray becoming more and more p!ssed off and therefore performing worse and worse every week but I can understand his frustration. Only let on two goals in seven games though......once we get ot right up front there will be no stopping us! |

im not sure about john still,i find him a little weak in his leadership,do you guys think he"s the right man for the job?i think these guys need a kick up the a$$ to get em started
