The 33s that SJ are offering on a Tahiti win probably isn't quite such good value though

Depends on who is playing who. Some good judges(!)
thought Tahiti not to score against Nigeria yesterday was good value at 1.62. |

anyone get on with stan james ?

just lump your money on over 14.5 and count the goals on thursday. it is difficult not to score against these mugs than it is to score if spain were playing a decent european team

Donny I've had £10 on that if Spain play a weakened team it could happen :/

Lets be honest,The Spanish Kindergarten team would destroy these mugs.

Could have the makings of the worst match of all time. Either Spain bangs in 15+ or they make the game a total mockery by passing it sideways 5000 times.

1/5 on Under 13.5 is ridiculous. Even if it got to 6-0 by half time you'd be able to cash out with a not too concerning loss. Chances are it'll only be 3-0 by half time and you'll pick up a nice profit.

___________________ mugs ? you realise that tahiti is a tiny little island nation right ? |

i'd like to see Spain pick their best team from a small market town and see what the result is then
|
|
By:
let us be honest, the spanish under 16 team will destroy them with a big margin
|
|
By:
For people to say there's no chance of them getting 13/14/15 goals is ridiculous.
Nigeria got 6 and should've easily had 10 or 11 and for long periods of the game they were absolutely dreadful. Spain will walk through their defence time and again. There's every chance they will take pity on them once they get to 9 or 10, but i'm not sure i'd want to lay the high goal markets at those odds and watch them rack up a cricket score. |
|
By:
the problem when a team like spain plays a team like tahiti is that it is extremely difficult not to score without looking patronizing. their defense is literally non existent and it would be quite difficult for spain not to get chance after chance
|
|
By:
It's the most eagerly awaited international match in a long time that's for sure
|
|
By:
I've layed most of the high overs. Spain might get them but the prices are ridiculous.
|
|
By:
so where did the op get 1\66?
|
|
By:
Spain will win easily but the Spanish are in the habit of knocking it around without delivering killer passes
No, they are always looking for killer passes, just that most teams they play have enough clued up defenders back that the option of the killer pass does not come around so often, so they are patient and keep playing back/sideways till it does. Against Tahiti the killer pass option will be there every time the midfielders are on the ball , so poor is the positioning of Tahiti's defenders. And thats if Tahiti have everyone back ; if they have 3 or 4 players heroically charging upfield as they did v Nigeria then killer passes won't be necessary, they will just be walking it in. |

tobermory, what would your rough guess then?

think i would make 12-0 favourite

When will the starting line ups be out for this game ?
|
|
By:
Spain will have mercy and keep it to single figures. Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Salgado unlikely to play as well.
9-0 |

Reserves?
-----------------REINA--------------- AZPILICUETA--ALBIOL--RAMOS--MONREAL ---BUSQUETS--MARTINEZ--FABREGAS---- ----PEDRO----TORRES------SILVA------ Either way, good luck Tahiti getting out of the game without conceding double figures. |
|
By:
Del Bosque was talking about a completely different starting eleven
So this would be it if he goes with that.... VALDES ALBIOL MONREAL MARTINEZ AZPILICUETA SILVA CAZORLA MATA NAVAS TORRES VILLA |
|
By:
If Spain don't need to win 14-0 etc then they won't ,they have too much class for that imo
maybe 5-0 at HT and 7 or 8 tops I'm laying 10 or more |

on paper at least i can't remember such a one sided fixture (competitive)

Competitive mis-match.
In 2011 Holland were No 1 in the FIFA rankings. San Marino were 203 (joint last) Holland won 11-0. That's the only time I can remember such a disparity in the FIFA rankings. It's all about Spain's mindset. Nigeria, I thought anyway, were pretty hapless, yet scored 6, and could have scored at least 10. Spain can score as many as they like, whether that will be 5 or 15 is totally up to them. |
