it's by far the worst 'big name' league in the world in my opinion.
Every single side has at least one 0-0 this season. Most have had 2 or 3. Newell's have had SIX 0-0s in 18 games! No side gets even close to averaging 3 goals a game. |

I have a theory about why games are low scoring in argentina, but I don't think it would be wise to try to explain at this time, especially after several large whiskeys

Ok, ill give it a go Chris. I did a lot of research at university on the cultural traits that affect the way people do business. However, these principles can be extended to all areas of life. If anybody is interested, google Geert Hofstede, he created a model based on 5 principles, one of which is called "uncertainty avoidance". Argentina is stupidly high when it comes to "uncertainty avoidance", which basically means, as a culture, as a people, they try to eliminate risk and uncertainty from their lives as much as possible. I won't go into it too much, but this kind of thinking (in my opinion), causes teams to settle for draws, and contributes to what we knows as the sh*te drivel we watch late at night

actually, i was going to make a sarcastic comment, but it does seem to make sense. Following on from that (and I realise I might be leaning on the info) but British/European teams dont have that attitude whatsoever, they dont belive they have lost till there clinically dead.
