I'm far from being an everton fan but they outbattled and outfought the rags last night, and they couldnt handle Fellaini at all, in fact it looked like he had that much time to bring the ball down and turn that Vidic must have felt like applauding him instead of booting him

Manure remind me of liverpool a few years back, they used to be good but no more, maybe a return for Beckham not beyond the realms of possibility these days

And how purple is old whiskey faces nose nowadays........

They'll be comfortably top 3. They've got so many good attacking players that they'll win most of their home games and a fair few away. their problem will be in the big games against City and Chelsea. A similar return to last season and they'll be struggling to win the league.

Who had more Shots? EVERTON.. Who dominated the game until the goal, EVEROTOn, who won... EVERTON!... Better team won, even united fans have been saying as much. Real passion won that game.

We were flattered last season, but showed great heart. We need City to be regressing slightly for it to be a battle. I fear with the return of Tevez and the fact they're more of a team than ever that they'll be slightly better. United still easily the 2nd best in England. Chelseas defence isn't good enough to come close and Arsenal were castrated ever since Wenger lost out on the back 4 he inherited. City/United/Arsenal-Chelsea/Arsenal-Chelsea, boring season lies ahead unless City start slipping, then we can give them a scrap.

It's an empty success. 5 strikers all £20m-£40m, it's just embarrassing.

United would never spend 20m or more on a striker  Plain

Ade would make it 6. RSC, Dzeko, CT, MB, KA 5 in the 20 to 40 bracket vs just 2 for us Wellbeck (free), Javier (7m), RVP and Roo. Empty souless team City are, their true fans say as much,

Until today City had 6 strikers worth £20m+. Only ABUs can't see that's embarrassing for the game. About the only sensible thing Wenger has said, Citys achievements are morally empty. Spot on.

No team has yet to fairly knock us off our perch. But City are monsters, and a breed FIFA are desperate to eradicate. My view is held by myself, SAF, Wenger and FIFA, yours belongs to the ABU brigade.

So what you're saying is it was ok when you were the big boys spending 25-30m on Veron, Rio, Berbatov, Rooney etc but now someone else is spending more it's not fair.

You bought a 25m striker last week and are paying him almost 200k a week. You'd have bought a 25-30m midfielder too if PSG hadn't outbid you. But i guess that would've been ok.

Difference between United and City's spending is that United earnt their money over a massive amount of years, no random takeover and sugar daddying.... City got given a gift and spent hugely. Success is success, but it's a bit hollow when you have to spend 400m+ to do so.

Exactly. I don't like it, FIFA don't like it, no one likes it. Real City fans I am good friends with, hell, they don't like it. The ABUs needless to say, LOVE IT.

But all the time you come out with gems like this:

Not only was it a stonewall penalty but a red card too. Ref handed it to them last night, absolutely gifted them the win.
