I've streamed several of their 1500 KOs last season and the performances are light years apart. I do look forward to seeing them this year if they keep this level up. I guess being a team of ABUs and glory seekers they turned it on versus United but will fall back like Roy is saying against lesser teams.

Time to accept that manu are not the force in English football anymore, the gap in quality between most of the teams in the top flight has closed considerably and searching for other excuses as pathetic as the tired old gameraiser line is to conveniently gloss over the real causes of the slow decline at the club. |

As a long-suffering blue, it definitely used to be the case that Everton played poorly in front of the cameras. I think Moyes has more confidence in his team and he has had more of a go against the bigger teams of late. You have to remember that when Moyes took over, playing against the then "Big 4" could be embarrassing if you didn't park the bus in front of the goal and he may have seen more value in saving players for the easier games. Now though, he has a team capable of more than just containment.
Next game is Aston Villa away - should be 3 points, but der ball ist rund and I expect that some of the knocks picked up last night may not have healed. |

I am reasonably fond of United but I don't know how any of their fans can come on here today and realistically argue that they deserved anything from last night.
Apart from a tame Rooney effort in the first half and the Jagielka clearance off the line, I cannot remember our goal beng threatened. We hit the woodwork twice and De Gea pulled-off a couple of good saves. If you think the Jagielka challenge on Welbeck was a penalty, you should also take a look at the wrestling move performed on Jelavic during the first corner of the game. |

In the interests of fairness valencia should have given a pen away at the corner. I have no qualms with the result, well deserved. Just hilarious how their performance level drops when utd are not in town or the sky cameras are away.
The ref had one though RMB, started off shelling yellows for nothing then didnt book vidic late on. I was on vida to be booked at decent prices as I knew he'd tire and loves a professional foul. |
