Martinez hanging around like a bad smell.
|

right lets get one thing straight.
the owners have not even discussed the next manager yet. start again. my protfolio so far is rafael benitez at 8/1 and frank de boer at 139/1 |
|
By:
GI some portfolio that !! The owners will have someone in mind..They are not looking after Wolves...
|
|
By:
if youve just recently forked out for a club your hardly gonna go with a newish man to the game who hasnt managed at the other end of the league unless you were brain dead and wanted to throw your money away...like randy learner lol.
|
|
By:
wolves mmm
so you think a champions league 2 la ligas and a uefa cup winning manager is worthy of managing wolves. and a coach of the dutch national side and recent dutch league winning manager in his second season would listen to a championship side??? |
|
By:
the word is david dein is advising so dont expect a new ish manager like martinez or rodgers.
|
|
By:
unless they have managed a bigger club
|
|
By:
oh btw thanks for who ever wanted to back paul scholes at 1.5 again.
the bolly is on ice here. |

The main reason kenny was sacked was the way he handled the media and the suarez affair. In american sport there is a huge need positive figurehead who can handle the media.
For that reason alone I would not discount Martinez |

buy - MON
sell - AVB, rogers, lambert |

swardean.
only problem is martinez's cv ticks no footballing boxes. |
|
By:
MON lol

GI jockey 4..Are you smoking what you are selling ?
What I said was that the Liverpool owners will have someone in mind for the job unlike the owners of Wolves.. For us non-Liverpool fans it has been obvious for months that the drama Queen Kenny has not been up to it.. Poor signings, poor tactics, and poor PR has made the club a laughing stock.. And after every game claiming that you are unlucky is a joke...... |
|
By:
buys....rafa...de boer
sells....martinez...rodgers. |
|
By:
Oh and if Liverpool are looking for a manager that has "managed a bigger club" then there are plenty out there !!
|
|
By:
homefortea.....
yes drinking.....had a right touch on paul scholes in the euro squads lol i know claiming unlucky isnt the best way to go about things but thats not what this thread is about.. as for the owners....david dein is apparently advising them on who to get in and nothing has been discussed yet. the word is that there was a chat about how things were going and the yanks disagreed with KK's vision. no manager has been approached or even DISCUSSED yet. for some odd reason the likes of martinez and rodgers have been considered amongst the favs even though they do not tick enough boxes by far.lay away. |
|
By:
so its gardiola or mourhino then?

By:
mind you, martinez has one advantage over KK, instead of being fecking sh1te all the way through the season...with martinez they would only be sh1te for 4/5's of the season.

you've got to have a speculative punt at bigger prices in these markets haven't you, for me it will be ancelotti at 100+ prices, a "big" name of course that has won the lot, and is proven in the premiership already.
|
|
By:
RAFA's a really great price at the moment!
Once asked (and I hope John W Henry & Co at the very least talk to him), RAFA will take the job but this comes with condition that this will be a project, his dealing will not be interfered with and some money obv will be invested. Some of His good ex-players are there..he wont have to sell to buy as much I hope, he will reinvigorate some players, and have a few players he wanted or enquired about..Andy Carroll being one! |
|
By:
not sure ancellottie would leave psg so soon.
same with the likes of pellegrini dortmund look on the verge of really good things if they can step up in the champions league next year so dont expect klopp. guardiola is a joke mourinhio is staying at real. capello???may fancy a stint if no one else is available. then your looking at managers who have just recently risen in stock. simeone de boer i dont see anyone from the premiership currently being good enough....i think david dein knows this. |

a lot of the interfering probably relates to the incident with torres re that birmingham match when the owners were desperate for champions league so ordered the physios to say torres was ready when he wasnt. thats h&g btw. a lot of sh1te has been spouted about how rafa wants his own way but really its down to how competent the owners are. h&g had their own agendas. |

MONs been waiting for the big English club. He won't demand a huge war chest which is lucky because ones clearly not available and is proven to get the most out of a modest one. The only issue is amount of pay off for the The Black Cats ...
