backing liverpool and laying off near to KO was the obvious bet and has paid off very well. you seem a very angry chap, but i think you may be more angry with yourself than anyone else. |

ive said it 3 times on this thread it was a stupid trade and will cost me around £200 -£300 - and I am peed off with it because liverpool have taken a big chunk out of my 2012 profits, happy now

I pointed out the errors in his trading very early on quin0607..........GA was the first to become abusive, though he has remained stubborn, shooting himself in the foot, lying and making stupid boasts. IMHO GA deserves no sympathy for making such a stupid trade, even more so for advising and encouraging outhers to do the same - I hope not too many followed as it was pretty easy to make money trading on this match.

 . the markets are crazy on here you can get them wrong i do every week but i call quite a few right too. green army you will regain that £300 in no time mate.and to luck on the bright side liverpool are away to swansea at weekend currently 2.3. will that be there at kickoff in my opinion no. if liverpool beat chelsea tonight like the market suggests then we will probs be looking at odds on if they don't then the money will come anyway. a no brainer |

Looks like a bit of normality returning in the liverpool price as the Gerrard news filters through. Probably says something of kenny's mindset for the match if not risking gerrard. if rumours true of course.

I put £1k down at 9.33 for odds between 3.75 - 3.85 combined 3.78 - I said 3.8 I apologise for the .02 error - I have no idea what point you are trying to make except that you are getting some child like satisfaction out of (incorrectly) calling me a lier

the truth is, both teams will take this seriously.
if you want to judge chelsea's motivation, look at the top four finish market. that has chelsea as a 10% chance to finish in the top four, ie CL places. they would be insane not to pursue that chance. if they want to rest players, the game to do it will be this weekend when their league chances are clearer, and the benefit is greater. meanwhile, liverpool have no material reasons to go all out, but plenty of emotional and psychological ones. they are in danger of their worst league finish in (iirc) over 50 years, and will feel they have a point to prove after saturday. plus they could very well be playing for kenny's job. |

funny threadand to slightly aftertime here, but backing against a team that notoriously shortens for seemingly no reason as kick off nears other than MUGS back them week after week after week (etc) never seems like a clever move if you're backing to lay before kick off, either back Liverpool or just stay away from their matches, the markets live in a different world to what we see every week |
