Day 60 Backed Arsenal to beat The Tractor Boys Made dosh on TNS & Barca though and ended the day 0.3% up.

Day 61 Was working and didn't feel the were any easy pickings in the football so settled on a rather large punt (it was at 1.07) on Labour in the Oldham and Saddleworth by election. That was free money

Day 62 Had a little punt on Dortmund. The match was so dire I bailed out after their 1st goal taking a very small profit. Of course they then went on to an emphatic victory but after the 1st half I was happy with my stake back and a 0.4% increase in my bank.

Day 63 I love Saturdays Has a punt on Man City and laid the arse out of Wolves when they went ahead. I greened out when City scored I also had money on Leeds. Normally I would give the Championship a wideish berth but there was much talk on the BetFair football forum of Scunthorpe being very depleted. Collected

Lately I have been looking into Welsh football. There are a few good teams and a few bad teams which is always good for profits. Collected today when Llanelli beat Aberystwyth

Watched the West Ham Arsenal game and made some cash betting on the next goal markets

I am now a day ahead of schedule

Had some finger trouble at the end of the Madrid v Villarreal game which was punished when Kaka got his goal before I could reverse it.

Painful but lesson learned.

A pleasing Evening at the Broadfield Stadium, had money on Crawley scoring and them beating Derby was an extra spiritual bonus. Well it was for me I doubt it was for Robbie Savage

Made my 1% on Iran today. Have laid West Ham tonight for a couple of quid but will probably trade from there.

Kept the 1%s ticking over with winnings in the Inter v Napoli game and yesterday's Camarthen v Neath.

FA Cup 3rd round today and a few la Liga games. Lots of research to do before I place my hard earned.

Am mega vexed with myself.

Barca were 1-0 up with 5 mins to go. I did not know away goals count after 90 mins in the Copa del Rey so they were not that arsed about conceding a late equalizer.

I could have bailed out at 1.08 Should have bailed out. Throwing money away

I put 5% on United and bailed out after Hernández scored, made my 1%

Tonight I fancy Barca to beat Athletico Bilbao in the 2nd leg of their Copa Del Ray tie.

I had Watford as my Championship bet of the Day. They are scoring goals for fun, are a good 1st half side and were playing out of form Scunthorpe. At 2.32 they were an excellent bet and I thought I'd do a bit of catching up with my schedule.

Unfortunately they didn't score in the 1st half and the stats on the BBC's feed looked bad. Scunthorpe had 5 shots in the 1st half, Watford 1.

If Watford don't score in the 1st half they don't tend to win so after 55 mins I half bailed out. Scunthorpe scored so I was quite relieved but fcuk me Watford staged a comeback and won. Made a small profit

Couldn't believe Real Madrid were at 1.49 to beat Getafe. Sure it is a derby and Getafe are no mugs this season but Jose knows how to motivate his teams and in Ronaldo and De Maria he has two players who give 200% to win.

Barca winning the night before would have set a fire under the Madrid squad too.

I lumped on and now I am back on schedule despite my holiday, the bad weather and the Christmas break.

Have to fancy Manchester United tonight. Will need to see the team though.

Someone suggest on a thread backing Grenada in the Spanish 2nd division. Took a look and it looked good. Came in too

Watched the start of Valencia v Espanyol. Valencia looked very lively while Espanyol looked blunt up front. Had 3% on Valencia and then bailed out once they had scored. Just watched a hilarious Valencia own goal seconds before half time.

Am now two and three quarter days behind schedule.

I am very very pleased with my progress. I think I've stepped up a couple of levels by cutting out all the bullshit silly bets and being far more choosy about the bets I do make.

Laying out is also paying off. While I'm not maximising winnings I am cutting out nearly all loses.

Nothing doing yesterday.

Won my 1% today on Watford. They are a very good 1st half team, Pompey a fairly poor one. Bailed out the moment Watford scored

Working tomorrow and very undecided what to back. Are Chelsea back in form? I don't think so. Could Villa have a good day? Maybe.

Lumped heavily onto Arsenal the other night when Chelsea managed to pull on back. Yes I know Arsenal have a history of collapsing but Chelsea were woeful.

Had some money on United against Birmingham once they'd got to a decent price, Half time, bailed out once they'd scored.

Bullied 1% out of the Indonesia v Malaya game.

Backed Gent tonight then bailed out once they'd scored

Had a quick check and I am 3 and a half days behind schedule which isn't bad considering I went away for a week and there was nothing to bet on on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Have decided I will aim for 1.25% a day for a little while to get back on schedule.

I will have to check that.

On Chelsea tonight. Have just over 1% on them and will trade out when I can get my profit.
