I had Watford as my Championship bet of the Day. They are scoring goals for fun, are a good 1st half side and were playing out of form Scunthorpe. At 2.32 they were an excellent bet and I thought I'd do a bit of catching up with my schedule.

Unfortunately they didn't score in the 1st half and the stats on the BBC's feed looked bad. Scunthorpe had 5 shots in the 1st half, Watford 1.

If Watford don't score in the 1st half they don't tend to win so after 55 mins I half bailed out. Scunthorpe scored so I was quite relieved but fcuk me Watford staged a comeback and won. Made a small profit

Couldn't believe Real Madrid were at 1.49 to beat Getafe. Sure it is a derby and Getafe are no mugs this season but Jose knows how to motivate his teams and in Ronaldo and De Maria he has two players who give 200% to win.

Barca winning the night before would have set a fire under the Madrid squad too.

I lumped on and now I am back on schedule despite my holiday, the bad weather and the Christmas break.

Have to fancy Manchester United tonight. Will need to see the team though.
