i'm not being funny but if thats the chelsea team i need to trade back out now. how concrete is this chandla?
By:
A local Chelsea journalist who writes for the Fulham Chronicle expects a team like that, guess you need to wait for the pre match press conference to find out what the squad is and who is travelling to work out what the starting team will be.
By:
The talk is all those who are not eligible for the Munich final will play vs Liverpool and Blackburn. The rest RDM doesnt want to risk injuries.
By:
epic fail imo
By:
right cheers for that chandla.i thought chelsea would be full strength for this. champs league final over 1 week away and they play my crappy blackburn team at weekend where they can field their reserves and still win 4-0. sort it out di matteo and take a proper side they get paid enough and should be playing best team

I can see the logic with resting players for the last 2 games, we are already missing key players in Terry/Ivanovic/Ramires for the final (meireles no great miss), any more injuries to likely Munich starters could seriously compromise the chances even more so can see a safety 1st approach. Most Chelsea fans want us to put out a weak team vs Blackburn and send QPR down, i assume players have to be in the 25 man squad so they can't put lots of youth players out?
By:
i think i may well trade back out. this game giving me the creeps just the thought of liverpool being 1.95 at kickoff means i will struggle to sleep tonight
.i'm afraid it won't matter what team u field at weekend it will be a walk in park against us we are league one standard ![]() |
By:
Smithy, if you stand to make a loss on this then i would advise you to subscribe to Chelsea tv so you can watch the press conference live, then as soon as you know the squad who is not travelling etc you can trade accordingly before the news filters out into the public domain.
By:
Please don't do anythig on my part, i am just passing on what i have herd, its not concrete but it is possible
By:
Looks like it gets streamed, but if i was you i would subscribe to chelsea tv just to watch it.

i dont think youth/homegrown players have to be included as part of the 25 man squad anyway |
By:
You wont see Drogba,Lampard or Cole ,but you will see Torres and Essien I expect Cech to play but the rest is about right those suspended for Munich will play .
By:
the thing is i don't stand to make a loss yet so could be worth getting out now. nothing is more fustrating than a reserve team being fielded when your balls deep in a trade. tbh not sure if i want chelsea tv i live at home with parents and already pay £80 a month for sky bill

If thats the case then Chelsea have alot of talented youth players who are in the FA youth cup final, they may want to give a few chance in the last 2 games. However most of the Chelsea youth team are foreign internationals but they prob meet the criteria of home grown.Chelsea didn't give Borini a chance now hes playing for Roma. |
By:
.........................Cech.........................
.....Ferreira.............Terry.........Ivanovich.............Bertrand....... ...........................Essien..........Romeu...................... ....Ramires.....................Merreiles..................Malouda.. ..............................Torres............................ Is about right. |
By:
in that case 3.2 on chelsea will probs not come in.

By:
I hope Lukaku gets a chance instead of Torres, also can see Sturridge start.
By:
billies have just gone 2.6 (8/5)
By:
not sure why they wouldn't put their strongest possible side out for this one at least. 2 wins and any 2 of arsenal losing, spurs and newcastle drawing they'd finish 4th. it's not that far fetched.
By:
Liverpool will be looking for revenge here. No way will Chelsea win this one
By:
is that right fivetimes, so they werent trying in the cup final ?
smithy i really am sick to bleddy death of liverpool and their insane backers, i'll be glad when this game is over and i think i'll just avoid them like the plague next season (my bank is up £8k since xmas - it would have been nearer £10k but for the scouse gits) having said that i think it is important to bear this in mind, the only person that matters at chelsea is abramovich and the overriding thing for him is the CL so if chelsea win both games it is quite possible newcastle wont win at everton (odds against) & one of arsenal & spurs dont pick up the required points so 4th place is clearly up for grabs & I just dont believe cech will be rested or a 2nd team turn up - for terry and those banned for the cl final this is the most important game of the season - and lets face it chaps, besides gerard (maybe) and suarez no other liverpool player would get within sniffing distance of a chelsea XI (tho I accept that does not necessarily affect the price) so smithy hold your nerve, maybe a small loss, maybe a big profit |

hi green army. tbh i think we can take take what we have learnt from the crazy liverpool prices this season and start to profit from them.i am using them as a cornerstone for my betting strategies mainly next season. just start blindly backing them even though there are not value.
for example other week i got 11/10 on paddy power on them to win at norwich and they were 1.78 at kickoff to lay off. i very nearly layed chelsea at 2.52 in cup final and they were 2.86 come kickoff but couldn't do to being busy with league one and two trades. they are 2.3 on here to beat swansea i want 1k on at that price. don't you just know the liverpool fans want one last attempt to back their team and the crazy asian money will want a last effort before season ends. only stan james offering 13/10 the rest are 5/4 and i reckon will be shorter come weekend. well done by the way on your bank increase thats some going since xmas mate i am looking for something similar next season ![]() |
By:
if you backed Chelsea at 2.84 and need to close before kick you can at least now get 3.3 - but hurry the price seems to be defying gravity as it continues to drift upwards.
By:
as i said pushpkin its the only game tonite so the weight of football knowledge will defy the eastern money to some extent top sp = 3.0 (says prayer)

By:
liverpool price will fall cos of the time of the season, last punt by fans. can see 2.2 by kick off

pushkin I know I have just had a grand at 3.8 and only need this to drop to 3.6 to wipe out my previous miscalculation
I simply have no idea what is going on - if it wasn't for the fact that the chelsea players have more cash than they could possibly need i would smell a rat - best guess here is another couple of million working its way over from thailand, and call me crazy i still reckon a sub 3 sp a mate of mine put the game nicely into perspective last nite, chelsea have just accounted for barca over 2 games - how many liverpool players would get in the barca XI - gerard for xavi or iniesta ? - you're joking, suarez, for messi ? err no the rest would be embarrassed to be on the same pitch so tonite as one last hoorah to the wonderful and frightening world of liverpool trading Ive had £500 on liverpool to win 3-0 at 50/55 & £500 2-0 at 25, Ill lay most back to go green but still win £1k if either happens & laugh me bollox off when the miserable scousers start singing "kenny out" at the final whistle |

08 May 12 09:30 liverpool price will fall cos of the time of the season, last punt by fans. can see 2.2 by kick off nice early profit ![]() |

I think the Chelsea price is value to back now. According to my ratings their price should not be above 3.65.
Green Army, I think you are telling some porkies. You say you have had a grand at 3.80. When I take a look at how much has been matched at 3.80, there has only been around 400 matched. |
By:
Extraordinary poor price for LIverpool - Does the market know Chelsea are playing a youth team or is every LIverpool supporter going all in to try and claw back their seasons betting losses? This price is a huge lay unless anyone can explain some logic behind it?

i think the facts behind lfc prices has been well documented on here. they typical fall in price on the day of the match due to heavy money from the far east backing them.
as this is the end of the season the effect is even more evident as people have one last punt. |
By:
fiddles i stuck a grand on, i think about half was matched at 3.8 (a bit even at 3.85) & the rest 3.75
By:
Green army - in your opening post you said you had 2k on at 2.84, now you've got 1k on at 3.8
So how does the price dropping to 3.6 wipe out your miscalculation? |
By:
Chelsea layed at 3.8, why ? because they know what team Chelsea will put out tonight.
This game is not a priority for them, all efforts are now focused on CL final. |
By:
Fair enough Green Army. Your average price is 3.80 then.

fiddles i stuck a grand on, i think about half was matched at 3.8 (a bit even at 3.85) & the rest 3.75 On Betfair? Because there's been a total of about £175 stake matched in the 3.8-3.85 range. Good luck anyway. |
