Zipi, that is my point about things just not right.Even the captain role is a mess. That comes from the manager the simple things that get taken from granted with good managers. The captain should be an extension of the manager on the field of play and that just is not happening at the club.I have maybe over simplified it, but I feel its indicative of the various problems the team are having at present.

I can buy that Briggie but there really is nobody of leadership quality, Brown is the captain and he had a good season last season. The problem is there is no ready made stand in.

Steven Davis is currently captain

davis is a decent player but not a growler, im not convinced that you need to be, to do a captains job,

what we need is a professional pride amongst the group.

perhaps too many at celtic, for a good while now, have their own agendas, looking to promote themselves, not just the players i refer too

Celtic V Real Madrid ESPN CLassics 10.30pm .. IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY!

There were a lot of good individual displays last night - Stokes got two, Hooper got one off the bench. I thought Matthews and Wanyama were excellent, and Kayal was very good too. Samaras even had a good game at times, setting up two goals. Having said that though, our defending of high balls and set pieces is a total disgrace and until that's rectified no one should be going on about how we played excellent as a team, as Lennon did yesterday.

We've struggled in every league game this season that's followed a Europa League game. We've played six games in Europe this season. From the five league games that have followed those ties, we've only picked up six points; won 2 and lost 3 of them. With the injuries we've got, I can't see how we'll get three points on Sunday. That price for Celtic on Sunday is an absolute joke.

Debut for Dylan Mcgeogh who came through the Rangers youth acadamy before turning his back on them to rejoin Celtic. Rangers looking 6 figure compensation Laugh

a lot of great young players coming through Lennoxtown, Tam Burns set the foundations, big Chris McCart doing a great job, weve got Tommy McIntyre who was in a top job with SFA, before coming onboard Stevie Frail, hearts best manager in recent years.

The futures bright, its just a bit nervy to throw them in, I reckon in 5 years well have a real, real good team with the majority home grown, hopefuly anyway.

Rangers have a lot of young Scottish players playing last season or two and doing ok, i don't think they get the credit they deserve half the time.

Sammy closes down a lot and makes things very awkward for opposition when they are attacking. Paddy not great defending but he sure knew exactly what he wanted to do as soon as he came on the pitch.

samaras cant defdend either. Me and my da watched rennes game the other night. Sammy did ok that nite but we wer still in disbelive at how bad this guy is. Lunges in all the time and gives frees away

Just back from game.Great 3 points as not a lot of chances created today.Have to disagree Bhoys as i think big Sammy has played well last two games. Its a unselfish role he is playing with having to support the strikers and also track back, I am his fiercest critic but fair play to the big guy very good the last 2 games.Hail Hail. PS. Worst ref I have seen this season had a very very poor game.
