This thread is very quiet since Celtic started winning games. Could it be that Celtic supporters on here  are only happy when trying to get somebody the sack?

MIkael lustig Swedish full back or Centre back ? Hopefully a centre back, 24 yrs old , 21 swedish caps contract running out with Rosenburg in January, scores a few goals too. Sounds much more promising than some buys.

How much of the 1.8 million will Celtic get from Southampton for Hoiveld. I don't see no reason they can't get a profit considering how well he is doing there.

I thought they played fine, still got to factor in 9 or 10 important players injured. They got the job done and as long as they play with the same belief 3 points will suffice tonight.

just because people like you are happy that our goalkeeper gets booked for timewasting and our lazy greek striker takes the ball into the corner at home against the mighty pars does not mean that we should all settle for such dross

Good to see Pat Fenlon get the hibs job another right good tim in the SPL, hopefully take some points from rangers, wont be for the lack of trying anyway.

Brown wont be a big loss. Always like to see ex celts do well, and look out for them in their future career. This fella, wont have any interest.

Interesting WGS still calling the shots

But I was angry with the frustrations of the fans. I was just angry with some of things I heard. It certainly doesn't help."

Lennon also revealed he BACKED plans to bring ex-boss Gordon Strachan back to Parkhead earlier this season.

The hush-hush move collapsed after talks in September.

But Lennon refused to rule out the possibility of working under a mentor in the future.

He added: "Gordon is someone I respect totally and he wasn't averse to the idea, but it never materialised.

"It was an idea that we've bounced around for quite a while. We were pretty close to it.

"But it was almost eight weeks ago now and we've moved on since then.

"It is something I'm not averse to, depending on who it is and whether we feel we need it.

"You're always looking to do better in life and this job being as big as it is, you don't always have the answers.

"So maybe an older head might make us see things differently at times.

"The longer I go on in the job the less likely that scenario becomes. But sometimes it is good to lean on someone who has been in the trenches.

"The Gordon thing is dead and buried as far as I'm concerned but he's always there on the other end of the phone."

I was under the impression Strachan was hounded out by the Celtic fans.

Anyway Lennon must be very happy his board have no confidence in him.
By:

He wasn't hounded out at all, he speaks very highly of the fans and the club. I think he felt he had ran his race and was looking for a new challenge, but at this moment he is unemployed.

Him and Lennon are close friends, he is a proven winner in SPL, why not give it a go ?

Lennon is doing very well despite 9 important players injured and all the abuse and attacks on him, his family and his players. The minority of Celtic fans who want him out are heard the loudest at times by those who don't support the club and are desperate to see him suffer for other reasons.

Zip in all fairness its not a minority who would prefer a better manager in place, you seem to have a blind spot because he's an Irish catholic. I was very similar in my support of Tam Burns when he was gaffer, but at the end of the day I eventually had to accept that second is failure in Glasgow.

He need to show a bit more class, pointing fnger and shouting at your own supporters, is not the way a Celtic manger should behave, the fans are paying good money and hanging on against Dunfermline at home is poor considering the wage bill for coaches and players.

i couldn't give a toss what religion he is Malay, i don't believe in catholism and never have. You and other Celtic supporters have a blind spot towards all the injuries and off the ball factors that stopped him winning title last year when a fully fit squad was playing very good football. He had every right to have a go at any man who is having a go at him, you don't know what they were saying and he was right to defend his players through thick and thin.
By:
MALAY
When: 24 Nov 11 15:47
I dont have any blind spot, I look at who won the league title last season and who is the clear leader presntly, a piss poor skint Rangers.

Shouting and pointing your finger at supporters who pay your wages, is the wrong thing to do for any football manager, but particularly a Celtic one, and if you dont realise that then you are supporting the wrong club.
By:

When: 24 Nov 11 15:54
Fans pouting off after another win by a team missing 9 players are supporting the wrong club. Rangers won the league last year after some serious sectarianism dented momentum. With so many players out Celtic are still in all competitions. It seems voices like Joe have repeated themselves so much that Celtic fans buying into it can't see what damage they do to the club

Celtic's points total last season would've won the spl most seasons and that total would've been even better were it not for the SFA's Save-Our-Club committee. Who do you think they're going to replace the blessed one with? Saint long punt Martin who paid a fortune for the Helicopter Sunday mob? There are times when I feel ashamed to be part of the Celtic "family". There are too many uncle tom mickys handering the orange sc.um with their anti-Lennon campaign.

Greg Tansey red card rescindedReferee Stephen O'Reilly admitted he had made a mistake, and that the offence hadn't even merited a yellow card

Caley penalised for 50 mins playing with 10 men though.

The player should have been booked a minute before the incident and, considering he looked before he leaped, that should've been a second booking anyway. Strange that Tel didn't have better luck appealing his player's sending off against Rangers earlier in the season when the visitors also got a penalty for a tackle that was a lot tamer than last Saturday's. In fact I'll donate a grand to Oxfam for every spl game anyone can find between ICT and Rangers over the last 2.5 seasons where Tel didn't have a genuine grievance. Tel would like to think these things level themselves out but the 2 blatant penalties Celtic were denied at Inverness at the end of last season wouldn't make a fkng dent in the list of injustices suffered against the huns. Tel takes it all in good spirits though Wink.

O'Reilly was the ref who sent off Ryan Jack a few weeks ago against - guess who -Celtic.

He booked him for running towards the Aberdeen fans when he scored the equaliser. Not long after he was sent off the Celtic player who scored the q2nd did exactly the same thing and no action was taken.

Also he forgot to report Mulgrews booking to the S.F.A.

These refs are definetly anti Celtic.
