snake from where do you get the word average i havent said anything is average
By:
dermot desmond is the majority shareholder not owner

I agree about the declining standard of player,i posted earlier about having average players in the team.Sadly this malaise is throughout Scottish football.Guys playing junior should be amateur,2nd div should be junior,as this goes all the way up to the Spl where the average player should be plying his trade in the first division not the top tier.

the fans is stretched back to the times of the early eighties when crowds for home matches were just over ten thousand
so you based this on 2 games you went to |
By:
Both Parkhead and Ibrox were only 1/5th or 1/6 th full in those days.
Was it anything to do with a certain mr.a.ferguson and mr.j.mclean? The gloryhunters did nt turn up then. |
By:
at last snake youv agreed the crowds are correct and briggietim im in agreement with your comment about the declining standards.the mistke for the third goal by ki last week was shocking if any of us had done that at boys club level in the seventies we would have been told politely not to return to the club
By:
ive agreed what
i dont agree the average was 10,000 |
By:
thats your post i copied not mine
By:
good memory shudacuda but rangers were a very poor team in the early eighties although both of the bew firm had excellent teams often beating celtic and rangers in glasgow although when they visited the crowds were often over 40000
By:
hardly all glory hunters , when they where getting 9 in a row the stadium was full as can be
By:
the fact with any team is if they aint performing crowds drop.same as any other sport
By:
THESNAKE
hardly all glory hunters , when they where getting 9 in a row the stadium was full as can be TY SNAKE you just confirmed my point. |
By:
i mean when rangers where getting 9 , parkhead was full as can be
By:
again completely wrong snake very few games were all ticket during the glory years and you could pay in to almost any game with lots of space at certain games in many parts of the ground.I think there is a vast difference between a lot of fans today compared to the sixties and seventies
By:
who said they where all tickets lol you like adding bits on
By:
your proving yourself wrong here not me.on matchday programmes the attendance wont include paid at the gates
By:
snake wot r u saying? that there wasnt attendances under 7,000 i can assure u there was
By:
and rangers got 9 in a row in the 90s not 60s and 70s
By:
who said there wasnt under 7,000 lol
By:
all ticket games were usually the only sell out games in those days and tended to be only old firm games, european games or cup finals the rest of the time you could pay in at parkhead no problem
By:
average doesnt mean there wasnt a 7,000
By:

By:
SNAKE its a fact that both rangers and celtic had many sub 15,000 crowds in those days.
By:
was 10,000 about 30 mins ago
By:
snake i thought you were talking about our 9 in arow in your post earlier but any way to stop arguing about small crowds in those days rangers had a 4000 home crowd for an spl game !
By:

By:

By:
bcos we had several below 7000, u are making out that it didnt happen. are u thick mate cos u sound like a squabbling kid
By:
i may be thick but i dont claim celtic struggled to get 10k a week because i went to 2 game sin january 1981
By:
snake i would believe me and blythster it did happen and there is no doubt crowds are falling again due to the falling standards henriks team would have beaten sion by 6 at parkhead
By:
well it did happen, feck it anyway. i was thinkin bout going up for the next gen and hopefully ther'll be a buzz as the transfer window prepares to slam shut [smiley:crazy]
