Like everywhere else Leeds has got some very posh parts - Alwoodley, Roundhay, Adel, Shadwell then we move across to the likes of Harehills, Chapeltown, Gipton, Beeston. You wouldnt beleive the differance between these areas.
Bradford, Batley, Dewsbury would be my picks. |
|

If it only takes 5 mins to dive there it can't take long to drive..

I'd like to nominate a part of london where I lived for over 30 years, many of you will have been there, others are unlikely to ever have the need.
If at all possible avoid WEMBLEY like the plague. It is shame because it was once a nice place. |

By:
towns aren't for living in, they are for shopping in.
|
|
By:
agreed, most folk with money live in the country ,or atleast a town of modest size.
very few nice urban areas anywhere |
|
By:
falkirk also has a good tesco and a canal with a wheel!
|
|

Walthamstow used to have a nice dog track.
Now it's to be turned into cheap housing (is there such a thing). I bet the local residents are pleased about that [:(] |

Has anyone mentioned Bolton yet? Its like a time trip back to Thatchers 80's. What a depressing place! Reminds me of Motherwell, and if any poor sod in here lives in Motherwell, you'll no what I mean!

I lived in Cov for a long long time and thought it was the worst turd hole in the world.
Then I moved to Milton Keynes...... |

Some parts of Liverpool are shocking, but I'm sure the same could be said for any deprived part of any major city. It makes you wonder how governments could allow such places to exist.
|
|
By:
Although I'd say Liverpool is my favourite city (along with London), so it's only some of it which is a little rough.

Coz they don't give a flyingfuk that's why, specially this Tory cnuts...

Luton needs more mentions, especially in a football forum.
You have to go over someone's back garden to get in the ground. |
|
By:
Luton did spring to mind but I went no further than an awful takeaway up the road from the station. As I went no further, I've had to disregard it in case the city centre is splendid.

Looks like after streaking into an early lead, Glasgow is starting to get pegged by by Liverpool and Luton.

Slough is a good shout. Bridlington in East Yorkshire was bad though, inbred.
|
|
By:
There's a place called Rigside in South Lanarkshire, which is pretty bad. Known as Rignam to the locals. Kind of sums it up!
