If you start a thread titled the worst place in the UK you will always be guaranteed a few 100 replies.What does that say about Britain and the people on these forums? FWIW I think there are many awful places with little to choose between, but anyone who says London is an idiot, its so big and varied its like saying you don't like food because Chicken McNuggets are vile.
Ok, in general london is a **** hole. Yes, there are couple of areas that are nice, but thats like saying Harold Shipman had nice glasses. I pity anyone who has to live there. At least those who work there can escape. |

Peterborough, Ipswich and 'Great' Yarmouth should all be included. Blotches on humanity the lot of them. Never seen so many foul gobbed little pr1ck spitting in the streets in their tracksuits or pushing kids around when they haven't finished school in all my life. They need to be wiped away, sealed in or get Christian Aid in there.

Although I dislike London, I don't think ANY of the largest 5-10 UK cities should be on here really. Although they do have their parts which can be easily some of the worst areas in the UK as a whole they will always have some good parts in the city to negate them bad parts of the city. I think parts of some parts of London and it's residents are the most vile in the UK. However the same could be said for most of the major cities, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol etc all have areas like London which are hell holes. However all the above have decent parts. However Bradford and Darwen, Luton etc only have negative points.

Went to 'Great' Yarmouth last summer,awful awful place,house prices their are what they were in Sussex here about 10 years ago. |

Plenty candidates in the West of Scotland alone Port Glasgow, all the ex mining villages if inland Ayrshire e.g. Drongan, Dalmellington, New Cumnock, Greenock, moving east Grangemouth, Armadale and Broxburn deserve a nomination too.
