definately, Lita is a proven goalscorer especially at this level, as long as he would be commited, then he could be a great signing for us
plus he cant be worse than the others, also agreed about Brad, hopefully Coyne can do a good job and keep the jersey |

marlon king is a proven scorer at this level as well. can't have lita at all. tamas priskin is who we want. if emnes and aliadiere are going to be our first choice strikers, it's going to be a long old season.

we should have taken a chance on Grant Holt from Shrewsbury. A proven goalscorer, admittedly at a lower level, but so was Bernie Slaven. Now Norwich have signed him. We don't want Lita. He didn't want us last season. We need to get rid of Alliadare. He'll never get his share of goals.

dont understand the negativity with Lita, he is proven at this level and wa even decent in the prem, at this moment in time, we havent got many better prospects on the horizon

Can't say i agree tbh but peoples opinion obv different...
However i know forest fans and they had grant holt and they all said he was terrible and this was in league 1, I know he did well for shrewsbury but that was in league 2 and to be fair he's 30+ lita proven in championship and scored a few in the prem so for free u cant say its too bad. |

Lita isn't what we need, another light weight striker. We've got Emnes, Aliadiere, Porritt etc now we need a big man, unless we keep hold of Afonso we'll need a target man.

There's no denying he's a goalscorer, i'm just saying at the moment we have no presence up front really. no1 to hold the ball up and bully defenders. I bet Chris Morgan cant wait to get his teeth into Aliadiere on Friday!!

I totally agree with that, but Lita is tougher than any of the players we have, got and with pace, he will frighten alot at this level
its very clear though that, aliadiere just isnt going to do anything, neither would alves, we have to sign 2 strikers at least imo |

in 3 seasons and over 50 games have you seen not a season, or a month , or aweek , or a match. or a half or even a 10 minute spell when johnstone has even looked liked a footballer including playing for england , i,d rather put my hat on brad jones catching the ball than depend on johnstone to push boro towards promotion
