tbf mr hill, youre not asking him to be honest with himself, more with you. it shouldnt matter either way, but of course it often does for whatever reason. no ones answered my point:

^ i think we both know thats not true. we had a down syndrome kid in our primary, and his life was utter hell tbh. kids dont draw distinctions like that, it is the simple fact of being 'different' - they are too young to understand the concepts of sexuality and disability.

the point is your supposed only reason is about the flak the kids might get, i am saying they will get this for numerous things, like disability, race, weight, even jobs of parents ffs (i know this to be true - my dad was a fishmonger!).

should every parent with a flaw that kids might take the** out of, be stopped from having children? no? so why just gay couples?

when you look at it like this, it suggest more that you just dont like the idea of gay people with kids.

if you can explain to me how my post is **phobic i will leave this forum forever and you will be morally justified.

If you don't know why it is **phobic then it is pointless me trying to explain it to you.

Calling someone gay as an insult is **phobic.

I'm rather busy at the moment Surrey. In brief, I believe a child should be brought up by a mother and father as a mother and father tend to have the correct balance of all the necessary qualities to nurture a child so that it functions in a manner which will help create utopia.

I don't know how many **sexuals you know but in my experience they tend to be a little unstable mentally and relationships, therefore, do not tend to persist. They tend to have a higher degree of drug abuse and sexual diseases.

There's also the bullying aspect and the confusion it can cause to a child. If a girl has girl problems then she will want to talk to her mother who has experienced such problems. Two **sexual men cannot have experienced girl things.

Most of this will be disregarded as stuff and nonsense and the usual misguided beliefs of a **phobe but I am afraid they are facts.

Who did i call gay? I stated that it appeared through your posts that appeared to be someone who had experimented in their younger days, perhaps at boarding school where you received your private education. It was not meant as an insult, myu morale code and religion does not agree with **phobia, i do not hate practising **sexuals as individual people.

bacontrout, kids understand the concepts of right and wrong if they are explained to them.

I suppose those saying that Man are not able to bring up children without women believe that widiwed men should have their children taken from them and adopted by a 'proper' family?

for someone who is so well educated, his skills for putting forward his argument, is ludicrous in the fact that he offers no argument... just insults people calling them bigots, racists, outdated, and other politically correct rubbish....

Way to sum up Millions of people in one statement TP!

Do straight crack addicts have more of a right to adopt then gays?

You do realise how strict the process is and how long it takes to prove you are ready to adopt.

Gays don't just queue up and take babies! they have to be checked out in the same way that straight people are.

The obvious problem with that Templeton, is that you are suggesting ALL male/female partnerships are utopian, and ALL gay partnerships have the qualities you describe.

No room for normal, well adjusted **sexuals, or maladjusted straight couples.

What about a single dad with a daughter? Who does she go to for advice? Notwithstanding that when adopting a kid, they would have NO ONE to go to previously.

If you are fit to adopt you are fit to adopt. No matter of age, sex, race, sexuality or religion.

IT IS THAT SIMPLE. IT REALLY IS!

It takes about 18months I believe to prove you are ready to adopt.

Crack addicts having kids and all straight relationships being perfect. I'm not sure where you've got that from. I doubt there's anybody on the planet who believes either point, especially the second one, so seems a little strange to counter my argument with such nonsense.

There have been a couple or arguments about single parents. I don't believe a singleton should be allowed to adopt. If a child is born in a relationship and one member dies or there's a separation then the child should continue to be in that parent's care. These are two very different things. Taking a child away is very different to someone being given a child.

I think the child's development is key and, in my view, there's more risk of an unstable upbringing being raised by two **sexuals than by a normal heterosexual partnership.

I'll take that comment as your surrender.

Answer me this. If a couple is proved to be suitable to adopt by expert professionals why should they not be able to adopt?

Templeton Peck you just cannot stereotype people in the way you have done. Next you'll be saying two black people can't be allowed to adopt as statistically black people are involved in crime

Why do you think so many people are off to other places to spend there lives then, this country day by day is getting worse by worse, and so few people are prepared to do anything about it.
